My friend is in town visiting and was craving Mexican. Using you Unilocalers we chose El Paso. You guys are the best! El Paso was delicious and the service SUPER friendly, fast and amazing. My friend had a brunch burrito with eggs and chorizo. I had a bean and chicken burrito. We split queso and added the hotter salsa with our complimentary chips. That hot salsa I will have dream about. It is spicy without being mouth burning. The garlic and cilantro flavors are intense and incredible. The food was well prepared and served quickly. I love that the burrito is grilled outside to keep it from turning soggy under the mountain of salsa I smothered it in. Our server was adorable and attentive without hovering. We never wanted for water or margaritas but also weren’t constantly interrupted. Staff that seated us, brought our food and interacted with us at other times were all the same level of seemingly genuinely friendly. El Paso will be somewhere I regularly visit when I’m craving a good burrito.

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was clean, the service was fast, and the cost was fair for the amount of food you get.

Very disappointed. My server Letty service was subpar. Didn’t know beer list, only Mexican beers still listed them AFTER I told her I didn’t like that beer. I ordered 3 crispy chicken tacos and a lunch special of 2 beef tacos with beans only as I don’t like Mexican rice. My chicken tacos came before my beer. I finished the meal when my other tacos came… chicken not beef and all rice no beans. Took almost 20 minutes to get my check and had to argue with removing what I didn’t order. Disappointed in visit.

Excellent Mexican food and you can’t beat the price. The drinks are great and not watered downed. Customer service is great also.

5 Stars because it’s the BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had, granted I’ve never had Mexican food outside the DMV but I’m sure El Paso would still be a strong contender. Not a place you come to for the atmosphere which is fine because what their lacking in that area they certainly make up for in good food. Oh and don’t even get me started with how good their prices are, super inexpensive which is good for a family on a budget. The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. Thank you for doing what you do El Paso keep it up and you’ll have loyal customers.

Stopped here last night instead of one of the big chains, and we were pleasantly pleased! The food here is on point, down to the fresh chips, salsa, & queso, to the fresh made tortillas and the delicious giant quesadilla and burrito! We also made it here on Tuesday, so our kid ate free with our big adult plate purchase. We will soon be regulars to this place, especially since we just moved in town from out of state! Thanks!

Margaritas are the best around and come in large margarita glasses. Tried the new surf and turf avocado beef burrito which was great! Chip and salsa could be improved! Salsa was so much better!

Hands down the best non-chain Mexican restaurant in Woodbridge. Fresh, authentically prepared food awaits. I had the grilled chicken tacos, my wife had the pick three combo and my son had the superburrito. We also shared a side order of the chicken tamales. The tamales were definitely hand made, full of pulled chicken and the masa was creamy smooth and not dried out. Topped off with ranchera sauce and cheese it was delicious! For dessert, go for the Churros!

Easily best Mexican restaurant in NOVA. Food is ultra fresh and I feel they actually create these dishes rather than unbox pre-packaged frozen meals. The waitstaff are friendly and extremely attentive. You’ll likely have to wait for a table due to their popularity, but it’ll go quickly and you won’t be dissapointed. The carnitas is my favorite dish with corn tortillas. This meat is incredibly tender with immense flavor. The kids meals for $ 4 is incredible with lots of food. My big, hungry, soccer players(under 12) eat heartily leaving stuffed. Unbeatable prices for all meals leave you even more happy after a solid meal. Usually, I despise Mexican restaurants(like Chinese) because no matter where you go, they all look and taste the same. El Paso here will break that mold for you as it did for me. Enjoy!

The fajitas are delicious, probably the best out of the 4 Mexican restaurants in Woodbridge. The only flaw is the guacamole, it’s so mixed with other ingredients that it looks green but it does not tastes like guacamole.

I decided to come here because it is one of my good friends’ favorite place to eat in Woodbridge. I thought it might be a good time to try it out. It was a pretty busy night but we were greeted right away and sat. But throughout, the service was sort of slow. We started with chips & salsa which was good. My friend and I got the fajitas El Paso for two, which I was nervous about sharing in case it didn’t have enough food. But trust me, it was more than enough. The fajitas were soo good and full of peppers, steak, chicken and chorizo. I really like that it comes with guac, equally delicious. I wish I could go back and eat it again — so flavorful & good. Definitely cannot wait to go back.

Greasy, bland food and slow, inattentive service. I see why so many people say it’s great, though. Scan the other reviews… Notice how many include pictures of HUGE margaritas… Yeah. Get lit and you’ll think the food is great, too.

This is not Uncle Julio’s, franchise bland Mexican food! I can honestly say that this is AUTHENTIC Mexican food! I have had several different entrees and they have all been equally good. The meat is tender, sauces are flavorful, and dishes come out hot. If a substitution needs to be made, they are more than accommodating. The establishment is in an easy to find location and always get excellent service. The décor is themed perfectly and reminds me of Texas. Fridays are usually packed and there may be a line they try to get you seated as quickly as possible. My favorite dish, enfrijoles, is fantastic but like many dishes written on the board or scrolling on the screen but not listed on the menu, which is why I didn’t give them the full 5 stars. The menu doesn’t include many of the great entrees available. That’s an easy fix for an overall great Mexican food establishment. Oh the jumbo maragaritas will knock you down!

The staff was great, very attentive to all the customers. Chips and Salsa: chips did not seem to be fresh, not sure if these were made on premise. The Salsa was FRESH with a good flavor. Homemade Sangria: EXCELLENT!!! Fajitas Texan: This meal had a lot of meat chicken, shrimp and steak. The sides Rice and Beans delicious.

Cool lil spot. They got a few locations in the surrounding area. Pretty good Mexican food. The servers were all very nice. Drinks and meals were taken very fast. Food also came out quick. They offer free chips and salsa while you wait. Good deals during the weeks for kids and military. Check their website for promotional days and offers. I’ll come back here when I don’t feel adventurous and know what I want.

The food isn’t exceptional, but the service was great and quick. We spent about $ 18 for dinner for two. Their food is more Americanized but was well seasoned and they give generous portions – nothing extraordinary though. Their waitstaff is so friendly which made my dinner here surprisingly memorable. They just really try to take care of you the best they can.

While roasting in traffic on I-95, I finally surrendered and took to Unilocal(I Unilocaled LOUDLY) in search of a decent Mexican joint. This place came highly recommended and, even though it exists in a dying strip mall and looks a little rough on the outside, it pretty much delivered on all points. Great music and a festive environment greeted me along with a pleasant hostess who also turned out to be my server. Chips came out quickly and drink order taken immediately. So far, so great! The menu has a nice mix and features lunch specials till 4:30 pm(that’s a late lunch, bro!) I ordered the El Zapata California Style Burrito, filled with steak, chorizo, Pico de Gallo, beans and rice. $ 10.75. Well, that’s a big burrito — and tasty — ate every last bite. Margarita was decent; there are many options to up your ante. Service was fantastic and the price was right. Definitely worth getting off of the highway and investigating!

What a fun time here! Servers were very friendly and brought us sombreros off the wall(decoration) when we asked so that our group could take pictures with them. Yes we’re obnoxious but hey, it was cinco de mayo: D Drinks(margaritas all around) came out fast even though it was super busy. Food came out promptly as well and was delicious. fajitas and an enchilada appetizer. The menu seemed pretty extensive so I definitely plan on coming back for more. especially for the Margarita specials!
