Unity K9 is a veteran-​owned canine training business located in the Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia area.

Obedient dogs have easier lives, and are easier to live with, than their untrained peers. If dogs abstain from jumping up on strangers, sit or lie quietly when asked, and walk politely on lead, they’re bound to spend more time with their owners going to picnics, ballparks, and other public places, and will spend less time alone at home. Dogs taught to lie down while you have company at your house are more likely to be included in the dinner parties and less likely to wind up isolated in the garage or basement.

Nicholas D.

Business Owner

Nick is a United States Army combat veteran with multiple deployments to various danger zones. While deployed, he immediately fell in love with dog training as he personally witnessed numerous lives saved by the well trained dogs. Nick was first introduced to dogs at the age of 2 and began training his own dogs at the age of 10. Once he joined the military at 18, he began to study dog behavior which led him into specialized dog training. After his last combat tour, he decided to separate from the military and start sharing his gift of K9 training with the world and thus, Unity K9 was created.
