Got bayayage’d’ by Molly a few weeks ago… she’s amazing. Did an awesome job. I highly recommend Molly and Johnny — both give great hair!

Review for makeup department, Robert Reyes:
Robert is the best makeup artist I have ever had. I went to him for a makeup trial and my wedding, and I was extremely happy with the results. He gave me big eyes, thick eyebrows, full lips, flawless and natural-​looking skin, and long eyelashes. I got so many compliments about my makeup on my wedding day. He made me feel so confident and beautiful and I had such a great time with him when he was putting on my makeup. He is such a kind and fun gentleman. I have an extreme phobia of getting my eyes poked, so it is very difficult to put makeup on me and a lot of makeup artists have complained about that. Robert did not complain at all and was very nice and understanding. He is a very talented makeup artist and it is very clear that he is passionate about his job. I highly recommend him.

I was introduced to Brian here by a friend 8 years ago and have been going here ever since. Professional service, comfortable and relaxing setting.

They have amazing hair stylists and an amazing make-​up artist. They are always willing to work with whatever idea you want and try to make sure that they do not damage your hair in the process. Everyone there is so friendly that it is a great experience being there.

This is my favorite salon in Los Angeles. I visit on every trip to L A. The highlights and styles are world class. Just ask me. I travel all over US and Europe for work and fun.

Jen Pond is simply the best. I’ve been getting my haircut from her for over 12 years. Even when I’ve lived in other cities I fly back to have her cut my hair. That’s how amazing she is.

I got my hair colored here (for the first time) last week and it was an awesome experience! Molly Hernandez is the best! I told her I wanted it to look completely natural and be able to fade subtly (since my hair grows about an inch and a half a month). She nailed it! The base color matches mine perfectly and the highlights are subtle but add great definition to my hair. Couldn’t be happier! Thanks Molly!

Ashley is absolutely amazing. I’ve never gone to anyone so talented and who cares about my hair’s health as much as her. We took parts of my hair (that had 6 years of black box dye layered on) and brought it to a gorgeous silver without killing it. She made my hair dreams come true! My entire experience was absolutely wonderful. I’m not letting anyone but her touch my hair! Would definitely recommend.
The whole atmosphere of the salon is lovely and tranquil. The whole staff is super friendly and welcoming. I cannot wait to go back.

I’ve been coming to this salon for almost 2 years now, and my dynamic duo are: LISA AND JEN!
Lisa is a colorist extraordinaire and will give you just the pop needed. I’m boring and stick with my black, but I’ve seen absolutely amazing work come out of her chair! She has an amazing personality and truly enjoys her craft!
Jen is phenomenal. She gives you sexy, flowing and all around amazing cuts, with no fuss! She cares, and will genuinely tell you what is best for your face without taking away from your vision. I’m a new mommy, and she was holding my hand throughout the entire process of having kick-​ass full hair, to fall-​out that would scare anyone! She is simply amazing! If you look at all my years on Unilocal,you will see I have never commented on anyone cutting my hair, because they’ve all been good, but seldom have they been GREAT! JEN IS GREAT! Love her!
Another positive: The salon owner is so wonderful! He’s warm, welcoming, and has an amazing personality. He isn’t in your business, he lets you be yourself, and holds an amazing conversation. Him, his wife and beautiful daughter are a delight to be around.

I moved from San Diego to LA and I was looking for a new salon. I went there about two/​two and a half months ago when I decided to go from blonde to brown. Lisa did single process dye job. She slapped on color all over and left in a couple of my old highlights. I literally could have done it myself if I bought box dye. She didn’t cut my hair or anything else. My hair ended up ashier than I wanted, but I decided not to say anything and hopefully let it grow on me. Not satisfied with my color, I went to pay and I got the bill and it said $ 200. I was in SHOCK. I could have done the job myself (the color I wanted) out of a box for $ 10. I was used to getting my hair weaved blonde with breaking the base, toner, full foils, and a blow dry for $ 145 – 165. I feel completely taken advantage of. In shock, I paid the bill and walked out. A week later, I went to a different stylist at a different salon and she fixed my hair for a reasonable price and I was finally happy.
UPDATE– Lisa reached out to me and offered to redo my hair. I appreciate her contacting me and trying to make amends. I added one more star because of this.

I have been getting my hair done by Aimee Martinez for 11 years and I have been spoiled rotten with her expertise. I worked for a head shot photographer and sent many people to her that were all amazed by her talent. People would swear no one could cut their hair right and I sent them to Aimee because she could give them the results they wanted. Also, Lisa Smith is literally the best colorist I have ever seen. I never wanted to color my hair until I saw a friend’s hair grow out with no evidence it was colored so I tried it and she is worth every penny. She and Aimee make a great team for all your needs in color and cut. A dynamic duo that is a force to be reckoned with.

This was a fantastic experience! I went in with horribly damaged hair and went straight to Ashley.
Not only was she a complete doll but she was all about not just what I wanted but what my hair needed. She knew exactly what hair cut would fit my round face and made me feel super confident.
The shop is beautiful, very clean, and parking is a breeze! The people are warm and welcoming. They provide robes and comfy chairs, I was sitting for a while so it was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun.
While I was there I enjoyed my favorite drink at their in house coffee café! All of the staff was great but enough cannot be said for Ashley! I can’t wait to see her again in 6 weeks! Check her out! She has a very cool esthetic and personal flare!!!

I was referred to this salon by my boss and it was the best hair experience I’ve had. Tony is awesome! Not to mention the ambiance is so cozy and cool.

Go to Molly! I just moved here and was REALLY nervous about finding a new hairstylist. I have long hair so I was trying to find a hairstylist that would do a great job at trimming my hair. I went to Molly and she was GREAT! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted and added in some framing pieces that make my hair fall even better. She did such a great job I’ve already booked my appointment two months out :)

I got my color done with Lisa Smith and cut with Aimee Martinez. My hair looks so beautiful and could not be any happier. Today was my first time at the salon and I will definitely be back. It is always a risk going to a new place for your hair, I trusted the Unilocal reviews and I am glad I went.

My hair was in desperate need & Joey Griego took care of me! He is amazing knows How to do color correction, Highlights, and Treatment. By far the best place In town very Zen. Know I’m summer ready!

I love Jen !!! Getting my hair cut by Jen is a relaxing time out from the pressures of the outside world. Not only does my hair look fabulous when she is finished but I feel so listened to and heard. Jen is funny and friendly and a joy to spend time with. I have not had one bad experience with Jen since I started seeing her about 3 years ago. There are not enough words to express how talented I think she is in her cutting technique. if you need a new person she is the person to see!
The salon itself is not on the main road, which I like. It is not overcrowded and does not feel like an assembly line. If you want to feel relaxed while getting your hair done this is the place to go.

I love Estetica! I called asking for a walk in women’s haircut and blowdry and they delivered! Molly is fab! She’s worked with long Indian/​Pakistani hair before and she’s great a cleaning up loose ends and giving you a great blow dry. The best part, she washes your hair and she’s doing all of the work. I’m not a fan of salons who pass on the «lower-​tier» work to «hair-​washers», you feel comfortable your stylist is getting to know your hair by washing and conditioning it too. She was fun to talk to, and she was great at blow dry. I think even if I came back to any of their stylists, I will be happy. The décor and ambience are very relaxing. And it seems to be a regular for local Woodland Hills/​Calabasas residents. I will be back in 2 – 3 months for a trim. Thank you!

Rosane did my hair for my wedding and she did an amazing job! I was so happy. I showed her a picture of a hairstyle that I wanted but my hair wasn’t long enough. Instead of telling me it wasn’t going to work, she used her creativity to figure it out how to make it work. She’s super talented. I would definitely recommend her.

Just wanna say if anyone, boy or girl is looking for an eye lash extension service this is the place. Robert does beautiful work. He knows what works for you and what doesn’t. I’m so in love with my lashes. Never in my life have I been told «what beautiful eyes you have». And last night almost everyone I came in contact with said it! So if you need a little guilty pleasure that doesn’t put weight on the scale this is it. Love love love !!!
