Family Creations

I have worked with 3 different agencies as an egg donor. I was impressed with this agency for many reasons: the response time was phenomenal (the coordinator even replied during evening and weekend hours), all the appointments were set up without my help and were done so properly, the medication was delivered promptly, and the agency followed up with me for days after my retrieval to make sure I was still doing well.
As an egg donor, I would recommend working with this agency!

I’ve now done four egg donations with Family Creations, and still feel just as strongly that they are a great company to work with. They’ve taken care of me, and have made sure that the cycles go smoothly. The last cycle my case manager was Mechelle, who is just fantastic. She kept me in the loop throughout the whole cycle, and everything was very organized. She followed up with me and made sure that I was feeling well after surgery. She’s also reached out to me to ask if I wanted an update (duh of course I do!). The recipients will soon be proud parents of a baby boy! They’ve also requested to do another cycle with me to give a biological sibling, so donation number 5 is in talks. Overall, this company has just done a great job with being straightforward, how it all works is very simple, and they’ve followed through and answered any questions I’ve had. I think being an egg donor is SO rewarding, I really recommend it, especially if you choose to work with Family Creations. And no, nobody bribed me to write either of my reviews. They’re just that awesome and it feels good to hopefully help them out!

there so called psychologist talked to my wife for 10 minutes giving attitude the whole time like this was a waist of her time. then determined she’s not suitable because she didn’t have enough people to support her around her. she doesn’t even know us and who we have to support us, but I guess she new all about us in the 10 mins she talked to my wife. and of course they listen to there psychologist which in my eyes needs to find a different job because a 2 year old to do better job then she did. I also agree with Amy there response time was unsatisfactory. find a different company. To your response we had plenty of support it was a misunderstanding I have plenty of friends that would help if I needed. I also was fine paying for my wife’s mom to come out, but you guys stated it wouldn’t be an issue. It’s ok we talked to another company we are fine. They explained there thoughts and will work with us with what we have.

I have to say that the thought of being a surrogate takes time and real commitment. The only thing better than those two things is the agency you work with when in the process of becoming one. I feel bad for not writing a review sooner! Family Creations is an absolutely amazing agency to work with when considering becoming a surrogate. The people who work there literally become like family because it’s so close knit from the start. This is only my first time being a surrogate but I can say already that if or when I do this again there is no question that Family Creations is the right agency to go through. I wish I can just call my case manager and say thank you everyday (but I know that would drive anyone crazy!) So if you are considering egg donation or surrogacy please call this agency. Even if you want to ask a bunch of questions or just talk to someone about the process to feel more comfortable, the staff is there just for you!

I completely disagree with Amy who complains the staff is uninterested and the response rate was weeks later. I always get a very prompt response and from day one they were completely interested and they invested themselves and their time into helping me in any way they possibly could. I have used this organization more than once simply because they’re amazing! Amy most likely didn’t answer their phone calls until weeks later because they have always answered and returned my phone calls and emails very quickly. I don’t know what she means by the staff being uninterested either, they are completely helpful and share the excitement with you every step of the way. Every time I spoke with anyone, they were very friendly, knowledgeable and shared their sincere feelings with me, they were always interested in hearing my concerns and helped me every step of the way.
DON’T LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I highly recommend you use this organization, you will not regret it!!!

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this organization. The staff seems uninterested and the response rate is longer than it should be (meaning weeks). There are tons of good organizations out there to go with — take time to do research and go with someone else.

I was recently an egg donor through family creations, I was really nervous going into the whole process because there weren’t many solid egg donation experiences to read online. But family creations was amazing. I had my donation last month, they were super flexible with any «blackout» dates I had. I had to travel for my donation which was really exciting to get to go to a new place without any out of pocket expenses on my part. I went into this process hating needles, I definitely still don’t like them, I can never watch when I get my blood drawn… but for anyone who is nervous to donate because of a fear of needles, it’s really not that bad, the shots were a piece of cake, my boyfriend did them the first few days and I took over afterwards, honestly I could barely feel them. Maybe I’m just unusual but I had barely ANY side effects from the process, very minor bloating/​cramping the week before my egg donation… I just felt generally sluggish, and didn’t’ want to move very fast. Immediately after the donation I felt better than when I went in, I was completely fine and didn’t need to take any of my pain pills, and I am a baby when it comes to pain so that’s saying something. A couple days after the donation I started to feel a little crampy, but it was less so than a normal period, I guess my ovaries were just a little sore. I still didn’t take any of my pain meds, and as soon as I started my next period I felt completely back to normal. Basically what Im trying to say, is for anyone who is interested in being an egg donor should absolutely look into family creations because they were great through the whole process, I could always get ahold of someone when I had a question and I never felt ‘in the dark’ about anything. I am hoping to get picked to donate again and have no hesitations going into it this time!

Family Creations is exactly that! My husband and I worked with this wonderful agency to help us create our family; we now have a beautiful little boy! They were compassionate, knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. They made the process so easy, they were supportive and kept us up to speed the entire time, there was never a time where we were questioning what was going on, the matching was seamless and actually really exciting, unlike the experiences we’ve had with other agencies which we were unsuccessful with. They are an amazing group of people, they are energetic and have great customer service, if we ever had questions that just popped up while we were lying in bed at night, we knew we could call them first thing and they’d have an informed answer for us that would give us peace of mind. While you are working with them you feel as though they have no other clients, even though you can clearly see they are working with lots of other families, they are so responsive and give you total one on one attention. I think when you are at the point when you need help having a child you want to be working with an agency that makes it as special for you and personal for you as it would be if you were able to do it totally on your own. Family Creations is an amazing agency that takes the time to really work with their egg donors and help them through the complex donation process.
I worked with Emily and she was the most amazing case manager. My egg donation process began last February and let me say it has been a rough and challenging process, but Emily was always able to make it better. She was helpful, insightful, understanding and supportive. Given the unusually rough circumstances around my donation I have to say Emily consistently went above and beyond. I especially appreciated all of her firsthand knowledge — she was able to relate with my feelings and struggles and helped me get through the last 9 months.
Overall, I can’t imagine going through the last several months without her. She is great at her job and a wonderful person. I was very lucky to have her support.

I really enjoyed working with Family Creations. They were professional and thorough. Helping people build their families is very important to them, and it shows. Simply by how they treated me throughout the donation process and of course by the reasons behind the creation of the Agency. Stephanie’s story is certainly a testimonial in itself to Family Creations having a special interest in helping people realize their dreams.
