Joseph Pilates’ original inspiration was to open the Pilates experience (which he called Contrology) to as many people as possible. This ideal inspires us at Hardcore Pilates as we offer classes and instruction of different tastes and levels to accommodate the widest section of our community.
We are known for our amazing group equipment classes. We offer Reformer classes, Cadillac classes, Wunda chair classes and Mat classes.
If group settings aren’t for you, we also offer private sessions, duet sessions and trio sessions.

History
Established in 2006.
Hardcore Pilates opened it’s doors in 2006. Due to an overwhelming demand for more space and offerings, we expanded the studio in early 2007. The Hardcore team is passionate, articulate, inspiring and in love with the work of Joseph Pilates. We believe our clients are the best and deserve only the best training every day they step into the studio. We communicate openly and continually monitor and encourage health, growth and well-being. Our instructors are certified and are dedicated to continued self growth, experience and study.
Meet the Business Owner
Gayle R.
Business Owner
Gayle’s passion of Pilates stems from her love of the Sciences. She received her undergraduate degree in Pre-Med from CSUN in 2000. She continued her Graduate level education at Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine. She became a Yoga teacher. Then, there was Pilates! It was an instant love and passion. She is certified in three comprehensive programs.
She recently had the pleasure of training under Rael Isacowitz of Body Arts Science International (BASI) in his Comprehensive Program and participates in his Mentor Program. Gayle is grateful to Joseph H. Pilates for being a genius and creating this amazing work that she enjoys and shares in day after day. She believes Pilates is an empowering, life changing and inspirational experience.
