My family has been Barones customers for over 30 years!!! Every family members birthday growing up was spent at Barones… We have fined at the original location, and the new location on Oxnard and Woodman. I was absolutely stoked when this express opened up as I live in Ventura county and a drive to Valley Glen is not always easy. I do have to say that I slightly prefer the original restaurants pizza to this one but I’m NEVER disappointed when I come here!!! I’ve brought many people both here, Westlake Village and Valley Glen and I honestly can never couch for anything but the plain cheese pizza… In 30 years I have never tried anything else! Thank you for opening up these 2 locations from a very happy, long standing customer!!!

Barrone’s Suck! The only good one is the original family one off of Woodman and Oxnard in Sherman Oaks. The one on Ventura in Woodland Hills is run by a smart ass punk who should be keep out the business. He insulted my wife and me when we told him the waitress stuck her fingers in my pie after she pick her nose. He was probably dating her so he asked s to leave and didn’t even refund the money. ONEBIGCLASSLESSASSHOLE! Please make sure they see this since I will keep my opinions on Unilocal from now on.

Omg this was the worst pizza I have ever had! It was greasy and there was no sauce. I ordered on eat24 and i purchased a 44 oz drink and received a small. Asked for parm and peppers and i didn’t recieve those. NEVERAGAIN!

Been coming here since inception 8 yrs ago. The staff is awesome and when there is a true issue, they fix it and then some. The loyalty program earns fast free pizza and breadsticks. All their food is worth every penny! As a diabetic I personally appreciate them. Barones does not add sugar to their recipes so I take less insulin and my blood sugar levels don’t spike. Thats nearly impossible with italian food. I come here 2 times a week at least. Thank Barones Pizzeria Express!!! Mare Dornan :)

I am a long time customer. However… Quality has been consistently going down hill. Caesar salad dressing seems to be watered down and the medium pizza used to fill the box. Not anymore! As well the consistency from one time to next is not there. We keep giving them the benefit of the doubt but I think after tonight’s meal put a fork in me I’m done! Update! Barones is listening! Just got a call from Steve. Was very concerned about my dissatisfaction. I should have called to let them know about my order. He was willing to redo my order. Too late for that but I will give them another chance! I grew up in Sherman Oaks and always have loved the food! So give them a try!

The Cesar Dressing was very weak, the pizza sauce was bitter and there was too much of it, and the thin crust wasn’t very thin and it tasted frozen. We asked the owner, Steve Monteleone, for a refund and he declined, got an attitude, and didn’t offer any solutions. We live close and really wanted it to work, but I wouldn’t go back, and there are a lot of other pizza places in the area where the money is better spent.

Been a very long time customer of this place, the food is really really good. However I had a terrible expereince with this place just recently, and thats why my 5 star review will become a 1 star review, and if I could, I would give it zero stars, because this place is absolutley idiotic. I called and ordered 60 dollars worth of food, and I always tip 10 – 15 bucks, because I work as a car sales person, and understand how important«commision» can be. I specifically told the clerk that I was in the pool area, and that it was the main pool, and she should have zero trouble finding it. I mean how do you miss a 30k square foot facility, with a olympic sized hole filled with water in the middle, smack dab in the middle of a apartment complex? Obviously this was too hard of a task for the genius they hired to deliver pizza’s. She calls me pissed off after I was unable to pickup my phone because I was in the pool. And she tells me that she left the pizza at the front office, but she took all the wings, fries, and sides back with her to the main store. I had no idea how to reply to that. She tells me she can still deliver it but the pizza will be gone. What the hell? I told her that I would give her a large tip if she could just bring my normal order to me, even if it took long, and she says I can’t and don’t want to deliver it anymore. Lol! I called in to get my refund, and the clerk says she can refund me, but has to keep the 3 dollar delivery fee, 3 dollars is nothing, but you would expect a customer centric business to do its best to accomodate a long standing client. Long story short, I always ordered big orders of food for both my self, my family, and most importantly the dealership, where we would sometimes order 100 – 150 dollars worth of food. I will never return business here, and I will be sure to tell others not to either.

I usually stop in here for dinner(or to pick-up dinner). The pizza is always ready ontime and is prepared/served perfectly. I will of course be back again.

I get lunch there everyday. Barones is a great family run business. They are always nice to me. And the food. FANTASTIC. I highly recommend their chicken Caesar chopped and tossed. There’s a reason they are too 10 best pizza places in LA. I’m a Barones patron for life.

So the order arrives and after a quick glance ask the driver if in fact the meatballs are missing. His response is yes they are there underneath the pasta. Says this with confidence so I believe him. Of course 20 minutes later when we eat there are no meatballs. Very disappointing. Would have been 5 star review because the pizza is the best and they did comp a pasta for next time.

Terrible. I placed a lunch order for delivery. And set the delivery time for an hour later. They called to confirm the order and delivery time. The delivery was 45 minutes late after the confirmed the correct time. The food was cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. I had called the restaurant twice while we were waiting. The second time I asked for a refund of the delivery charge. She said she would have to ask a manager and she would call me back. I never got a call back. On top of that I don’t think the pizza would have been good even if it was hot. Oh. Also I ordered ranch dressing with my fried zucchini but they forgot it. It was a disaster. Don’t order from here! There are much better and more reliable places in the area!

Came for the lunch special. One pepperoni slice and soda set me back $ 8. A bit expensive but the flavor was good. The crust was flaky like a pie crust. The tomato sauce was balanced and the cheese was fresh. The pepperoni was small but savory. Pizza reminded me of frozen pizza or elementary school lunch pizza, because of its square size and sauce taste. However this slice was a cut above, but a little skimpy on portions considering the price.

Ugh, where do I start. You know it’s bad when the girl at the register had to keep saying«sorry, I don’t usually work the day shift.» No wonder I was overcharged twice, had to keep reminding her that my meal came with breadsticks. Italian dressing instead of ranch salad. Just ugh! I’m eating right now and the food is actually really good. I’m enjoying the company out here in the patio. I’m really happy that there’s a place to come have lunch out in the beautiful patio in the month of December. I just don’t like that I have to be paying attention and making sure that I don’t get overcharged. Come here and enjoy just make sure you don’t get overcharged.

This is my 5 year old sons favorite place to eat. The spaghetti is very very good. The pizza is the best in town, much better than any chain place. Their salads are huge and the Italian dressing is great.

no stars for this unprofessional dirty careless place. this is the worst pizza place i’ve been to, you want burnt pizza, this is the place. terrible customer service. this will be reported to the bbb, businesses like these don’t deserve to be in business. i called many times to speak to the manager to complain about the burnt pizza, i never got a call back, i left my number, not a call back ever! you need to learn to return a call just as courtesy since we «customers» are the reason you’re in business. i will not be recommending this place to anyone.

This place by far is one of the best places to eat. It’s a great family oriented resturant. Not to mention the meatball sand which is awesome! By far the best meatball sub over had. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Baronies is the perfect spot!!!

Rude staff. Rude delivery woman. Took 45 minutes more than the quoted 40 minutes for delivery. Brought a cold pizza and cold mozzarella sticks. Asked for our second side of pizza toppings to be on the side. Only brought a small sauce cup of jalapeños. Also asked and paid for 2 salad dressing and got 1. This place has okay pizza but the service doesn’t justify the cost or the lack of customer service. DONOTGOHERE!!! OVERPRICEDANDBURNTCOLDPIZZA.

So my son and I were both in a pizza kind of mood and had to check out Barone’s Pizzeria Express in Woodland Hills. Here’s the story of how I found them: One day I ordered pizza to pick up and walked into Barone’s Pizza only to find out that I had ordered from a different place! Vowing to order from Barone’s next time… based on the amazing pizza aroma wafting through the restaurant and happy customers eating amazing looking Italian food and rectangular pizzas! So tonight was the night… and as I drove with the pizza box in the passenger seat… taunting me to lift the cover and grab a slice before I got home… but I didn’t want to ruin the beauty of what lay before me covered in cheese… My son and I stood at the kitchen counter debating where to start first. I went for the corner piece… the kid went for the center… and we didn’t say a word until we grabbed for the second piece… and simultaneously we smiled and nodded like wise guys knowing we know what we know… ya know?! When you’re already talking about going back and what else you’re going to try(yeah yeah the cheese again) and the margarita pizza too and how you can’t wait to share this pizza place with friends… and all of these future plans being made and you’re still eating this pizza… well it’s kind of like falling in love! Now that’s PIZZA!
