Guido’s Pizza & Pasta

I am so shocked how rude the owner is! I rarely gave one star review to anything but this place really deserved it! We ordered the pizza online and there is a charge called «Delivery Fee». On the website, they didn’t specify whether the delivery fee includes tips or not. Later, I learnt that the delivery fee didn’t include tips for the deliver staff during the delivery and really felt sorry about that.
So I called the store to clarify it out and planned to offer tips by charging my credit card (I didn’t have cash in my pocket during the delivery).
However, the store didn’t even give me a chance to finish what I want to offer and just threw attitude on me! I’ve never been so disrespected by a restaurant in my life! As they wish, I won’t be a customer anymore.

Try the eggplant for one of the toppings. Seriously great.

Im so disappointed because I really like the pizza, but the owner, an Italian guy with heavy accent, always over promises and under delivers.
I ordered deliver and received the wrong pizza. It did not have the toppings I had ordered. When I spoke to the owner, he said he would give us a discount on our next order. So on our next order I asked him if we could use the discount he offered. He said he didn’t remember offering a discount and denied ever getting any order wrong.
He was aggressive and rude. Though I genuinely use to enjoy this pizza, I will no longer be ordering from this guy. I give it one star for a tasty pizza but I would give it negative zeros for the poor customer service and lack of accountability as a business owner.

Ordered pizza, sent wrong pizza. Guido the Italian guy who owns the shop told us they are too busy to send the correct pizza tonight but not to worry because he will send a free pizza next time hmmm… OK I guess but he forgot pepperoni that does change the flavor quite a bit so the pineapple pizza did kind of suck…
Just a few days later I called to get the pizza and Guido claimed I’m making this up trying to get a free pizza I told him to check his records of our last order but he doesn’t keep records of past orders… He even said no discounts!
I don’t like being called cheap and a liar Im able and willing to pay for a meal… Plus Guido offered me a free pizza in the first place as compensation for sending the wrong pizza!
THEN THE OWNER has audacity to call me back and admitted he was conveniently forgetting getting the order wrong last time and apologize.
In the end, the owner offered us a free topping on our next order, how generous (probally a loogie).
Refuse to do business with dishonest people. Fratellis pizza is awesome or Barone pizza or Topanga Pizza so many options for good pizza we won’t be going here again…

Ordered on line for pick up as they are close to my daughter’s house. Everything was good. The order was ready when I got there, the pizza was very good as were the wings. Will definitely use them again when in the area. A nice little local location.

Ordered veggie pizza for delivery. The gentleman was very nice and food arrived as promised. Cheese still hot. Super fresh and tasty.

I said before that Guidos is «The best pizza in the valley hands down! Love these guys!» and I still stand by it!
We had a mix-​up with Pepperonchini and Pepperoni today and they got us a new pizza lickety split! I love dealing with locals who take their business seriously. And the pizza was DELICIOUS as usual!

Guidos became our top pizza delivery choice since we moved to woodland hills, it’s really good. On top of that, we recently had them cater our kids bday party with pizza and a 6 ft Italian sub and it was so good, everyone was raving about the sub sandwich and the pizza was devoured. I placed my order about a week before the party and the guy taking my order was so nice, he even called me the day before to reconfirm, I didn’t expect that thoroughness from a pizza place. I will definitely use them for future catering

Delicious. Small charm. Helpful worker. The place is rough. Needs cleaning and updating, but has A rating from health department, so yeah. The choices are numerous.

My boyfriend and I live walking distance from Guidos pizza, so we go there a lot. Amazing pizza and my favorite is the creamy ranch dressing. Good salads and always ready when I come to pick it up. Always satisfied and the owner is very nice!

Best pizza in this area! I like thicker crust and theirs is excellent. Also try the chicken wings, you won’t be disappointed! Just like any pizza delivery they can take a little time to arrive so be prepared.

Ordered delivery said it would arrive at 9:00pm did not arrive until 10:00pm. I called it see what the hold up was the person who answered the phone just said it’s on it’s way and hung up.
When the food arrived the garlic bread was burnt and the pasta was cold and soggy.
Defiantly disappointed by this place. We will not be ordering from them again anytime soon.

A friend & I decided to grab a bite to eat before studying at the Starbucks across the street. My friend ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza & I ordered a chicken salad– I asked if I could get the Greek salad with chicken, instead and they said it would cost $ 5 more. WHAT? So I decided to stick with my original order. The salad had very little chicken & consisted of the lightest shades of green with olives, cheese, tomatoes & two salad dressings, on the side. Ranch & a Greek type of vinegarette. We asked for hot sauce & they handed us a recycled water bottle filled with some kind of hot sauce… Odd. My friend’s pizza was amazing– probably should just stick with what they’re good at.

Never had a bad pizza or salad here. Good for pick up or delivery. Their ranch dressing is great too.
Never disappointed. Good pizza, good salad.
I’m a repeat customer for many yrs as they’re always consistently good.

I have been going to Guido’s for over 10 years. In that time I have found the pizza to be consistently good and the owner, Joe, to be always kind and welcoming. I have been placing the same order for so long that they know the sound of my voice when I call in.
I like to order the crust «crispy» and the pie always comes out with a firm crunchy crust. I’ve tried many other pizza places nearby in the West Valley, but Guido’s just tastes the best to me.
Not a flashy or fancy review… sort of like Guido’s. Not fancy… just good.

Just your friendly and delicious neighborhood pizza joint! Pizza has real ingredients (fresh mushrooms were awesome). I asked for crispy slices and got them exactly as I ordered. I’ll be back soon (maybe even in a few) for another slice of the pie.

Came in on a whim because of their 2 slices & a soda for $ 5, we came in just before closing I found out when I opened Unilocal,lol. But the gentleman working the front was extremely rude and made me not want his pizza. My boyfriend didn’t care and ate it anyway but I wasn’t up for this guy’s attitude.
As we get our pizza, we ask for the soda that was promised by the sign. The rude gentleman said «NO– that’s lunch special»
Now for the pizza, does it even matter? Homeboy was rude and will not be getting our business again. Go to Pan Pizzeria for a delicious slice of pizza!

Called in right before they closed and they were nice enough to make my order and quickly make my pizza. I was afraid they were going to rush my pizza and undercook it in order to rush out.
I was wrong not only was the guy who took my order really nice and polite. He made my pizza perfectly. It was our first time and it was really tasty!!!
We will definitely be back and I’m happy we tried them out! Hope it’s the same quality next time.

Lured here by the two slices & can of pop special.
I went ahead and ordered and saw the guy go the fridge and pull out a giant tupperware container. I didn’t see what happened next, but taste confirmed it:
This deal gets you two *reheated* slices of indeterminate age pizza. Maybe today, maybe yesterday, you just don’t know because, well, it’s refrigerated. Either way, if I wanted leftovers, I’d bring them from home.
Not coming back.

So I live very close to this place yet I’ve only been here a few times over the years. It’s quite the dilemma actually. See, the pizza here is very very tasty. And it’s prepared fast when you pick up or get delivered.
Why have only been here a few times? Well, the owner is an awful person. Apparently he didn’t take customer service 101 during his time at Pizza University. I’m sure he was at the top of the class because his pizza is delicious. I think he knows it too because he acts like a prick and yet people still pay him for pizza. I order once a year or so in hopes that someone else is running the joint. Nope, not yet.
I have quite the pizza habit and eat pizza at least twice a week. Usually I go to Ameci’s which is right down the street or Zanos, or Barones. None of their pizza is as good as Guido’s and yet I do not mind because there isn’t an awful person working there.
It’s hard to describe what about this man is so awful. It’s almost like an attitude where he’s doing you a favor by making you a pizza instead of you doing him the favor of keeping him in business. I remember giving him my address once and he told me that I lived too close and that he wasn’t going to deliver and that I should pick it up! Ridiculous.
How does a business like this survive? I don’t know, because while the Pizza is good, it’s not that good.
