A limited group of establishments around the world sell Bb. products and share a vision for a stronger hairdressing culture. Each is the best in their region and employs stylists who are impeccably trained, unusually talented and have an unyielding passion and love for their craft. In addition to selling Bb. products, they develop their skills at Bumble and bumble University (Bb.U) in New York City — an institute for higher learning or graduate school for hairdressers.

History

Established in 1997.

Owners Karen, Kris, Pat and Robert, established Funké & Co. in 1997 with a simple concept:

Build and support a highly talented team.

Provide them with innovative tools and training.

Maintain a creative environment that allows each the freedom to offer leading edge products and services that exceed guest expectations.

In keeping with this concept, we have enjoyed successful growth in our team, salon and services offered, as well as a name change to Funké Hair · Body · Soul.

We now have the pleasure of offering a full range of Spa Services to our guests, including manicures/​pedicures, relaxing facials, and waxing, in addition to cut, color and smoothing services.

We continue to experience growth and prosperity, and appreciate the support each and every guest has provided to us since day one!

Good overall experience here, but from some things really upset me while I was getting my haircut.
I was referred by a friend who goes here, and a couple things really kind of bothered me while I was there. First of all, the older guy at the front desk really was kind of weird. That fake nice, but really doesn’t wanna be there type. Apparently one of the owners, along with his wife who is a hairstylist there as well. I was given the rundown on the place during a tour of the salon since it was my first visit. But it was really disturbing that as I was waiting for my stylist on one of the couches I overheard him being pretty flirtatious with some of the women who were seemingly his staff??? Made me uncomfortable to see a married man flirting with employees while his WIFE apparently works in the same building. I don’t know if that would bother most people, but that kind of behavior really makes me pretty sad. Anyway, I got my haircut and the girl I had was awesome but I noticed a couple other things while I was there. The floors were on the neglected side, to say the least, I saw quite a few people stepping in or walking around piles of hair all over the place. Towels left lying around everywhere, and a girl pulled out a comb at the shampoo bowl to comb me out and it was filled with hair. Um???
Overall it was okay, I guess I was just left with some mixed feelings about the place. It took a few minutes for me to leave since no one was at the desk for me to check out when I was finished. Might stop by again.

I have been having my hair (Holly) and nails (Lory) done at Funke for some years now.
Everyone at Funke is kind, friendly and welcoming. I look forward to every visit there.
The atmosphere is upbeat and fun. They provide a wide variety of services. All the stylists and manicurists are very talented. You can’t go wrong at Funke!

I’m a huge fan of Funke Hair Body Soul. The salon is clean, light, fresh, modern and comfortable. The staff — so friendly, really helpful. India has been cutting my hair for years. She tames my short, thick, wiry hair and I’ve had people come up to me in parking lots and the grocery store complimenting my hair! Wendy took me from a nail biting adult to a lady with hands I can show off. Both are great! I never have to wait more than a few minutes, and I always leave feeling like I’ve given myself a treat.

I followed my manicurist to Funke two years ago. I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff and by all the stylists. My manicurist is wonderful and I did not think she could improve upon her pedicures. She did with the addition of moist hot towels wrapped around my legs.
After several months, I noticed clients who had great hair cuts and color and decided to leave my previous stylist, and have Aryn do my color and Eileen do the hair cuts. My hair has not looked this good for years. Strangers come up to me and compliment color and cut. Kudos belong to Aryn and Eileen.
I recommend Funke to everyone who asks about my hair and nails.

Meg did an awesome manicure and pedicure! She was very friendly and professional. The spa was huge! I feel like it just kept going! The art in Funke is really awesome. The owners husband I guess does all of it and it was actually my favorite part about the place. My second favorite was the pedi and mani of course, but it was just fun to see all the different artwork. The salon was very clean and organized for being such a large place. I will definitely be going back here to get my next manicure and pedicure.
