Shout out to Jose! I get my hair cut at Carlito’s by him. I am an African American woman who wears her hair natural. Jose is a perfectionist. He does an EXCELLENT with my haircut so that it looks soft, pretty, and feminine by the end. In my previous experience, even though I’ve asked vociferously for them not to; barbers have edged me up and given me a masculine looking cut. Jose listens and I appreciate that. On the not-so-positive side, twice I’ve gone to Jose and gotten razor bumps after the cut. This isn’t frequent – two times in almost one year. However, I’ve noticed he uses the same towel to wipe down his clippers after he’s cleaned them customer after customer. Granted, the clippers have been sanitized before he wipes them with a towel, but I wouldn’t expect a doctor to dry her hands with the same paper towel after she’s sees each of her patients. The towel she dries her hands with after washing her hands is «technically clean» because her hands are sanitized, but it’s best practices to use something disposable once as it’s more sanitary.

This place by far sucks sucks sucks. The only good thing about this place is the people that come in to sell homemade food. The worse customer service. They do not know how to handle a business or run one for that matter. I’ve been to over dozen shops in Worcester. This is the worst one.
