Gibson’s Natural Pet

We brought our dog to Gibsons and were not pleased with the service. We never went back. They are not on top of their game. Im horrified by the amount of bogus claims and people writing things that are anything other than leaving their condolences for the Demers Family. Clearly there is negligence here. Two dogs DIED! It is spelled out for you. No matter how you slice it up, they went home with no pets. If you can’t say anything but, your sorry, you should keep your thoughts to yourself. While you may know Mel and Bob personally, this is on a BUSINESS level. So those should be kept separate. I wish you the best, Demers Family as this will take a long time to go away.

My dog LOVES the daycare and I love the store. This store is very clean, has great products and the staff know what they are taking about. The people in the daycare are wonderful with the dogs and love all of them. They also have a daycare camera that i can watch all day. .

Gibsons is one of those shops that due to location, moon alignment and/​or other factors that are a mystery to me thinks they think they are gods gift to customers.
Nothing could be further from the truth:
Pros:
— They offer a doggie cam, which for some owners is a big deal.
— They also have a large selection of pet supplies.
Cons:
— The staff could care less about your pet and arbitrarily decide who gets to stay at thier tiny daycare
— There pet supplies are 10−20% more expensive then local competitors
— The owner/​s are not engaged with thier customers and give thier staff carte blanche to apply rules as they see fit regardless of facts.
— They have limited daycare room given zoning and prioritize dog clientele based off staff interactions. Basically taking full priced customers over discount customers because of the space issues.
Overall verdict: Keep looking, there are day cares within 5 miles that are not only less money but offer better services and prices on pet supplies.

Very nice store! Everything is neatly arranged, staff is very friendly & knowledgable about the products. I moved in the area recently and had to change my cats food & they helped me find a brand was healthy, affordable, but most importantly my cats actually LIKE it & don’t throw up or get stomach problems from it. Thank you, gibsons pet! You ll see me again.

Staff is so out of touch with the fact that they work at a PET store. I brought my puppy inside with me and they all glared at me instead of even acting (or pretending) like they liked dogs in any way. I would NEVER feel comfortable with leaving my dogs here for day care as it is apparent the employes have no control over the dogs, (one is even mentally challenged and barely 5 feet tall) It is clean and well organized but the cold hearted staff makes me hate this place. Gibsons should hire competent staff that know how to discipline dogs before accepting anything more than golden retrievers and Labradors.

We love this store. Our dog goes to the daycare once or twice a week and she has a great time. They also allow you to watch the dogs remotely over video. They always have someone watching and playing with the dogs.
Very friendly staff, huge selection of animal foods/​treats and toys. I would highly recommend.

Carries a good variety of high end pet food, natural treats, toys and accessories for cats, dogs and small animals. Friendly staff and good customer service. Also has grooming and dog daycare. Our dog has been going to the daycare once a week for a couple of months now and loves it. They screen the dogs for temperament and have at least one employee with the dogs at all times, so we feel very comfortable leaving him there. He gets very excited when we tell him that is where he is going and he comes home happy and tired.
