I’ve always been pretty active(mountain biking, boot camps, obstacle courses, et cetera) and I had taken some Karate when I was younger, but I didn’t have any Muay Thai or general kick boxing experience at all before coming to Team Link. I searched for Muay Thai around Worcester, and Team Link’s Unilocal page popped up. I read the reviews, then did a little more research, and eventually booked a trial class. I was super nervous, expecting to walk into a basement filled with crazy Muay Thai fighters that were going to rip me to shreds! It was quite the opposite, the manager Jade is quite possibly one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, and she walked me through the gym and how the program worked. Soon after I went and joined a class with coach Ibere Reis. Again super nice, and non-judgmental. I stretched and warmed up with everyone(I forgot how much I hate jumping rope). When everyone else started shadow boxing/bag workouts, Ibere taught me some of the basics(stance, positions, movements). Afterwards, I rejoined the team for a series of pushups, situps, and all kinds of cardio/bodyweight work. By the time I left, I was a sweaty mess, and had signed up to be a member. This is a great spot to train, whether you are a complete beginner like me, or one of the many pro-fighters that were training there, you’ll love the family/community atmosphere. Give it a try!

I’ve heard of Team Link Worcester for a long time and finally was in the area and gave it a try. They offer Judo, BJJ, Muay Thai, and Boxing and I came in for Muay Thai, Judo, and Boxing since I am not a huge fan of BJJ, in general. The Muay Thai instructor was very knowledgeable and pay good attentions to all the students and ensure they are doing the combo correctly. The senior students were there to help as well. Judo was world class, and taught by 3 black belts. Everyone was very strong with really good technique. Boxing was taught by a former GG and he was very knowledgeable with his skills. My friend who had no prior experience took the class and felt everyone was there to help and didn’t try to bully him. The one common theme I’ve felt between all the groups is respect. Everyone was very respectful regardless of your skill level and the staffs/teachers were very knowledgeable in their fields. I will definitely come back again.

This place I consider my second home and my team mates my second family and muay thai my second culture and tradition. I couldn’t ask for any better coaches who I look up to alot. They have taught me the art of muay thai, discipline, respect others and keeping my body in shape. I have recommended this gym to quite a few ppl and they all have loved it.

I just joined Team Link Muay Thai a month ago and I have to say that it is the best place to train in New England. I have trained at several places over the last 6 years and I have always felt like the instruction I received was top notch until I went here. Coach Reis has corrected mistakes that all the rest of the coaches I trained with never noticed and now feel more confident in my technique, strength and speed because of it. The best coach, the best team and the best facility around!
