Owner and pastry chef Ibrahem Habib has more than 20 years’ professional experience creating edible masterpieces.

Business Owner

Ibrahem Habib was born in Cairo, Egypt. He attended a Culinary Institute in Luxor, Egypt. After college he traveled to Saudi Arabia and worked as a pastry chef with a catering company. A while after, Ibrahem went to Kuwait where he worked with the same catering company. He returned to Egypt, and he worked at the Hilton Hotel located in Sharm el-​Sheikh. Ibrahem traveled back to Saudi Arabia and worked at a hotel in Dhahran. He came to America in 1997 and settled in New Jersey. When he first came, he briefly worked with Italian People’s Bakery, then he worked at McCaffrey’s. Ibrahem continued working at McCaffrey’s until early 2006. On November 3, 2005, Cairo Cakes was established in Ewing, NJ. Seven years later, Cairo Cakes opened in its second location, Yardley, PA. Ibrahem Habib has been working as a pastry chef for more than 20 years.
