History
Established in 2015.
Chef Mark Ice has traveled many parts of the world cultivating cooking skills and developing a repertoire of recipes in hopes of opening a restaurant. Having the opportunity to purchase a small Pub in Yelm, WA; Chef Mark has worked to bring Celtic food and has utilized the area’s abundant culinary resources to offer fresh seafood and local meats and produce to the community — all items that were previously lacking in this area.

Business Owner
Born in Peoria, IL and spending much time in Chicago; I got my first job washing dishes at 14 years old. Promoted to cook within just a few months, I’ve never looked back (even having cooked in the Navy) and have retained the passion for food and enjoyed helping people to be so thrilled with their dining experiences. I did some training in Palermo, Sicily and have cooked all over the US. I’ve been a partner in 2 restaurants and am just thrilled to have the opportunity to have my own place with my brother Matthew. We have been transplanted to Yelm through my brother being stationed in Bremerton and my wife being station at Ft Lewis. Our family is Scotch-Irish on our Mother’s side and I have done extensive research into our family and the culture of the Celtic Isles.
