Wouldn’t consider it a dive m, but not the fanciest place If you’re looking for an old school bar type of place this is it it gets the job done and always cheap drinks. Whenever I come it’s always a good time although the crowd differs between time and what day it is. It’s the neighborhood bar. Great place.

I have had two experiences with the staff here and they have both been horrible. First, I walked in Friday night with three friends, two went straight to the bathroom while one went to the bar to order a beer. The bartender told him he couldn’t order one until the other two came out of the bathroom. My friend(27) showed his id, said the other two are over 21 and repeated he only wanted one beer. Bartender refused so I went to get my friends from the bathroom. They came out and tried to show the bartender their id’s, but he said he didn’t want to serve us. This all seemed very unfair and rude– we are between 22 – 27 yrs old and wanted to pay him for beer… That’s what a bar/bartender is for. Second incident, a couple months ago: they have tv’s so I called to ask which nfl games they were going to show. The staffer said«during football season we show football, during baseball season we show baseball and during basketball season we play basketball.» I replied«that’s good, but do you know which game(s) you will play tomorrow?» He started to repeat his original answer so I said thank you, I won’t bother, bye. These are the only bad experiences I can remember having at any bar. Their behavior has been abysmal.

In need of a bar? This is a straight up bar. Nothing flashy but enough inside so that you won’t fall asleep. Great place to meet friends and have a few. bartenders were nice. I got an Irish vibe from the place if your into that. Nothing negative to say about this place. Check it out.

My neighborhood bar, though I am only an occasional patron. Wouldn’t call it a dive bar, just a nice, well kept local bar. Nothing special but has good prices, good service. and good food. The crowd varies depending on what day/time you go. Not a very social place being such a small local joint, mostly filled with groups of friends, not many folks looking to chat with others, but can usually find someone to talk to and, at the very least, you don’t get that classic«who the hell are you» look from the regulars. Only real problem is the draft beers don’t taste very fresh and I think the taps need a cleaning. I think this is because everyone there seems to only drink the bottled beer.
