We use iPads and truly offer full digital dentistry. We take most dental insurances and offer convenient payment options. History

Established in 2014.

Practicing since 2007. Mint Dental OC is Always Accepting New Patients from all of our surrounding areas including but not limited to Yorba Linda, Placentia, Brea, Anaheim Hills, Orange, and Fullerton. We have loyal patients as far as Aliso Viejo, Corona, Long Beach, La Mirada, and beyond.

Business Owner

Dr. Kim Nguyen was born and raised in Tustin, CA. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in 2003 with a bachelor of science degree in Biology. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Nguyen wanted to explore life outside of California, so she decided to move to Boston to attend Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

After graduating from dental school in 2007, she furthered her studies and completed an intense one year General Practice Residency (GPR) program at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. The program focused on emergency care, implants, prosthodontics, cosmetic and general dentistry.

From her well-​rounded and diverse experiences and studies, Dr. Nguyen is able to provide the utmost care and attention to her patients.

Dr. Nguyen is excited to establish her practice in Orange County. She is thrilled to be back in California to enjoy the sunshine and serve her community!

I recently went to Mint Dental in Yorba Linda, Ca. and was extremely pleased! I was greeted by a very friendly staff, in a cool and relaxed environment. The entire office plays relaxing instrumental music, and there were even candles burning for a pleasing atmosphere. All of my dental needs were professionally and expertly performed by the Dentist and Hygienist. I usually would only go once a year to my former dentist, but now I’ll willing go every six months since my experience was so great here! If you have teeth and want to keep them, go to Mint Dental in Yorba Linda!

Great staff. I was there 2 months ago as a new patient and couldn’t have a better experience. Got the usual first patient musts: X-​rays, checkup, and a cleaning. Dr. Nguyen was fantastic. She may not be there for a bit since she was pregnant when I met her, but the staff were awesome so I’m sure her temporary replacement will be just as good.

Dr. Nguyen & staff are so kind and welcoming. I’ve never had a dentist where I actually enjoy going and look forward to my appointment. At Mint Dental you’re treated like family! I like that everything is thoroughly explained to me so I know what to expect too! I feel comfortable during my procedure because they make sure that I know I’m in good hands!

Love this office! I paid $ 69 for an exam, x-​rays, and cleaning and I couldn’t be more happy with my how my appointment went.
— Calling to make an appointment was a breeze and the front office staff is SO nice and professional
— On the day of my appointment, the first thing I noticed was the office décor. The office is GORGEOUS — inviting, clean, and styled in a way that makes you feel like you’re in some sort of magazine for dentist offices?!
— While I waited in the waiting room (it wasn’t more than a couple minutes), I was offered water. :)
— X-​rays were digital and displayed on a screen in front of me as soon as they were taken (cool!)
— I was given safety goggle-​type glasses to wear during the cleaning! (I’ve never been offered any sort of face/​eye protection at other dentist offices before)
— Everything from the x-​rays, to chatting with Dr. Nguyen, to the exam, to the cleaning and patient education was thorough and very pleasant (how many people can say that about their dental appointments?!)
— I received a follow-​up letter in the mail a couple weeks after my appointment, just to acknowledge my visit and to wish me well. It’s the little things like this that make patients feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for.
Would highly recommend this office! Dr. Nguyen is extremely approachable, caring, and professional, and the staff is wonderful. Believe it or not, I’m looking forward to my next check-​up here!

How many people can say that they enjoy going to the dentist? THIS GIRL CAN! I visited Mint Dental for the first time just a couple days ago for a cleaning and to get my teeth whitened. I was so impressed with the inviting atmosphere and the friendly staff. Dr Nguyen is professional and super cool! During my cleaning she was very explanatory and positive. The receptionist and the hygienist were super friendly, helpful and attentive! I’d never had digital x-​rays done — so easy and fast! My whole experience from beginning to end was superb! I’m a convert and will never go to another dentist — Mint Dental is IT!!!

People feel 2 things for dentists visits: fear & obligation. I felt neither after 2 visits to Mint Dental OC & actually look forward to my return.
The environment is relaxing and chill, not your garden variety, sterile office set up. I got to choose my fav pandora station and wear my own sun glasses during cleaning (gotta get that selfie). And, Dr. Nguyen is equal parts Professional and very rad!
Worth noting, before scheduling my 2nd cleaning, I was mentioning my up & coming wedding & they asked if I’d be interested in a teeth whitening! Super thoughtful, I’m a dude, didnt even occur to me. My fiancée made an appt too.
Mint Dental OC got my back.

This place is awesome! My fiancé and I have been coming here for a little over a year after we found them on Unilocal,and have absolutely no complaints so far. We’ve been here about 5 times for different services and have never had to wait more than 3 minutes each time. The office is adorable and the ladies there are very sweet. I really appreciate how they try to keep the cost of your treatment low and don’t try to tell you that you need fillings, deep cleanings, etc. when you don’t (I’m looking at you previous dentists).
Only con that I can think of is how gorgeous Dr. Kim is and how jealous I always am of her flawless teeth! lol But seriously, everyone here treats you like family and remembers details about you that you won’t even remember sharing. Love it!
I will be going here to do my whitening, so I’ll make sure to update once I do.

First experience here was with a groupon for whitening. Loved the office vibe, clean and modern. I returned when my other dentist suggested 2 cavities be filled. Went for second opinion. Dr. Kim took another set of X-​rays and did an exam. She said there was no need. no decay. She was very honest. She charged me nothing for all this. I am changing to her practice officially!

This truly is as good as it gets. Dr. Nguyen and staff are friendly, funny, and caring. They made me feel relaxed and unafraid, and this is coming from someone who truly has a fear of the dentist. Dr Kim Nguyen and her staff are amazing! Just walking in the door and being greeted by Brianna, the receptionist, I felt very welcomed. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I have actually stopped by just to say hi. Dr. Kim is so gentle that even my 7 year old doesn’t mind going to the dentist now. I can honestly say that my family and I have found our family dentist and we are very happy. I highly recommend Dr Kim.

The work that Dr Kim does is not only professional but amazing! Very gentle and they all have a sense of humor. Not to mention the office looks very modern with their décor. It also seems like they use the latest in dental technology. I only say seems because I have no experience in the dentistry field.
Last summer I awoke to a huge tooth ache in the middle of the night. It was ridiculous, I could barely talk let alone think about trying to eat. I didn’t know where to turn because I didn’t have dental on my health insurance. With this in mind, and a fear of the dentist that has been instilled in me since I was a child, I was hesitant but I gave Mint Dental a call. Scheduled my appointment, and went it for an exam.
Turns out, I needed a root canal which was my first and I had heard all the horror stories. I decided to go ahead and start the procedure. Let me tell you, it was utterly painless. The pricing wasn’t that bad either. They really did a great job, and even when my crown wasn’t fitting right, they adjusted it too!
Thanks Mint Dental, when I get my insurance I’ll be definitely coming back to you!

Dr Kim Nguyen and her staff were amazing! They were extremely helpful, thorough and the whole office is very minty clean and welcoming. My teeth felt very clean after the cleaning and despite my last few dentists missing a concerning condition with one of my teeth, Dr. Nguyen picked up on it astutely.

I’m new to the area, so I’ve been looking for a new dentist. I discovered Mint Dental from Unilocal,and its high ratings. And, I can honestly say, her high ratings are well deserved! Dr. Nguyen and her staff were super friendly, helpful, and accomodating. I came in for a new patient cleaning. And, I will admit, I am a BIG chicken when it comes to comes to the dentist. Dr. Nguyen was extremely gentle and patient with me. The drill part of the cleaning freaks me out the most. Every time I raised my hand due to sensitivity, Dr. Nguyen immediately stopped. All my sensitive areas, she ended up cleaning by hand and not with the drill. That, alone, really put me at ease.
The front dest help, Sarah, was very helpful as well. I have some issues with my old fillings. And she priced out how much I would have to pay as well as showing me how much my insurance will cover. By breaking down my costs, it will help me to budget my finances.
While I find the most important aspect of the dentist should be the quality of service (which of course is 5 stars), the ambience of the office should be mentioned too. Everything is modern and gives off a calming, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms where you are getting dental work done have beautiful, green, faux-​plants to help keep you at ease. I also really loved the décor of the waiting area. However, you won’t be waiting too long there, as I was promptly directed to go see the dentist.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Mint Dental. I highly recommend this place!

I never thought I would have enough good things to say about a dental office until I came here for a much needed annual cleaning. Surprisingly I felt refreshed already when I first walked through the front door of this clean, modern, chic, high tech, and minimalistically decorated office that brings nature from the outdoors in with cool, lush, green, hedges climbing the walls.
I was kindly greeted by Ashley, the dental assistant, who brought me into the exam room. With soothing music playing in the background, I sunk into an extra plush and comfortable chair, a bib was placed on me, and was handed a pair of goggles to put on. Dr. Nguyen came in, introduced herself, explained what she was going to do, and began chipping away at my tarter build up. Dr. Nguyen was attentive and skillful with the high tech cleaning tool that actually felt very comfortable on my teeth & gentle on my lips. Ashley, the assistant was also very good at suctioning during the cleaning and then polishing my teeth.
I left feeling renewed and relaxed, with minty clean teeth (hence the office’s namesake) from a dental office visit that one would never imagine that such an experience can be equated to a spa-​like experience.

Dude, this place looks cool. Came here as a new patient for usual exam, cleaning, blah blah… i was floored at how super clean, super white, super refreshing this place is. Dr. Nguyen has a gentle touch and takes the time to explain everything. I had a couple cavities (gonna come back for those), but during the cleaning I got to watch a movie (Despicable Me, awesome choice). She’s also super laid back and gentle, which made for a way better cleaning than I had at other places.
Not having insurance, their fees are reasonable and the staff did not pressure me into anything. This is my kinda place.
