The Pond Digger

I have been a customer if the pond digger for along time. They are AMAZING and CREATIVE. They are very efficient and alway do a great job. I’ve never been disappointed by anything they have ever done. I would definitely hire them for any of your pond needs.

This review is solely based on my customer care experience. cThey never did work for me, as a matter of fact I never got a chance to get them to my house after multiple attempts. I found them through Unilocal and after seeing all 5 star reviews, I went to their store at Yucaipa and met the lady who was at the counter. She send me to another lady who looked like the owner. She told me to give my information and told me that someone will contact me. No one contacted me for one week. So I called them back. The girl who answered the phone apologized for not contacted me and said Brandon will contact me to have a site visit. Brandon did call me and told me that he will be coming in two days. It’s been a wk so far and Brandon has changed his appointment many times, seems like he has no time. Finally I took day off and waited for him, but again he didn’t show up. He send me a text to change appointment. At this point, I have concrete guys pouring in two days and he spoiled my opportunity to plan my backyard for a water feature. If this is how Pond digger take care of their customers, I don’t know how they r getting high rating.

Eric and his team at The Pond Digger love what they do and it really shows. Eric wants the best for his team and all his clients. They all want the best for the industry, and help educate other pond professionals, Which I think says a lot. Eric the owner and crew just finished our 11×16 pond with dual waterfalls and my wife and I are very impressed with the finished product. We gave them freedom of expression to design a water feature that we could enjoy both inside and outside the house. They hit a home run on this project. I checked out several pond companies and decided to go with the BEST! Check out the pond digger on YouTube. They actually show you how some of their projects are built and give excellent tips. Eric will treat you like family and his attention to detail and workmanship is above par. You can truly tell that him and his crew enjoy what they do. I would not hesitate to use him again for another water feature. Thanks again Eric

Wow! We recently moved to Rancho Mirage, CA and decided to add a koi pond to our back yard. We contacted a number of services. We met with Joe the Fish Guy — who works directly with The Pond Digger. We liked them from the «get go». Our pond is approximately 14′ by 11′ with a three foot waterfall and spill way. WE LOVE IT! From start to finish was just over a week. From design to cleanup their people were orderly and respectful of our property. There is nothing «fishy» about their work!
We are now ready to finish landscaping and selecting our fish. We are truly excited!

I am cross posting this because I see there are two listings. Trade name and Company name… Same great Company!!!
I needed some major help with a poorly built pond I put in and I found this site online. The owner, Eric, came out and checked out what we had. The pond I had put in was lacking in depth…(my opinion and keeping my construction issues simple)… !
It was decided that to achieve what I was looking for, my poor excuse for a mud puddle was finished (again my opinion).
Eric brought his crew out and did the most professional work I have ever seen. My pond actually looks like it is somewhere in the high desert mountain area. It was finished off with California native plants and rocks from the California high desert/​mountains.
It is our slice of paradise in our own backyard visible from anywhere in the back yard but most importantly, its directly outside of our master bedroom sliding doors.
The support we have received as we go through this journey has been incredible. I highly recommend Eric and his crew for any waterscape or design you may have in mind.

I just had a beautiful pondless waterfall installed in my new home and Brandon did an excellent job of designing and building our waterfall.
There is nothing like sitting outside after a long day and enjoying the relaxing sound and sight of our waterfall .
I would definitely recommend the Pond Dogger in general and Brandon Specifically to build your next pond/​waterfall.

Awesome place people are so down to earth and friendly told her the size of my pond and layout she picked out all my plants and fish in about 20 minutes I was gone with all I needed including a mouse for my snake and some crickets for my chickens for under a hundred bucks. And got to pet her pet goat and lab while waiting jealous I don’t have my pets at work ;)

Where do I start? I bought a house 3 years ago with a «pond». Actually it was an algae pool. The previous owner did a «DIY» type pond with liners and like 5 or 6 pumps bought from the local big chain pet store.
I got online and googled pond builders. I contacted several contractors. I interviewed them. I did research. I contacted recommendations. I am so glad I did! I spent a bunch of time researching and never did Eric feel threatened or become pushy to get me to sign a contract with them. The research I did — sold itself. The youtube series done by the PondDigger– phenomenal! It gave me all the confidence to let them handle my project.
I have an amazing pond! Three years later — IT’S BEYOND AMAZING! Pond Digger — Eric and Scott and Mike have absolutely killed it! My pond is the highlight of my yard. Complete with waterfalls, koi, lilies and amazing landscaping.
The process was seamless. They communicated all the way through the project. They turned the mud hold into an amazing oasis. They showed up on time (huge factor for contractors these days) — and completed on time!
Over the past 3 years — they have maintained the pond on a weekly basis. They go above and beyond EVERY TIME they are at my house. Something needs to be done — they don’t wait for me to ask — they handle it.
I have had a pump malfunction and shut off — called Eric and BAM — he had people at my house to get me up and running again as quick as possible. Eric was as worried about my koi as though they were his own children. He is a GREAT GUY with a HUGE HEART.
If I could give this business bonus stars — above 5 — I would do it.
