This place in an institution and a «must visit» to out-of-towners. Our tour guide, bestie, total rock star(and body guard) for Zephyrhills took us to this place and we loved it. Total mom and pop shop replete with family vacation photos with a little kitty cat(ha ha ha) taped to the cash register. We enjoyed stepping back into the early 1950’s. Thank you Moody’s.

I went there to get some bug spray, they recommended some tablets to put throughout my home, said theyd work… I bought them and put them where they said and the bugs still came I gave it about a week. I didn’t notice the difference. I went back to return the tablets and the owner said NO. I was completely unsatisfied. It was only 8.00 and cash of course they take no cards so I had to backtrack to get the cash, btw anyhow I would def NOT go here they do not back up what they sell and they give NOREFUNDS and they were very hostile about it,

If you’re looking for that hard to find or unusual piece of hardware go to Moody’s Hardware. The owner, Mike, is a very personable guy. Says the business started in 1946 and he’s been there for 50 years. I needed some keys copied which is why I stopped there. I’ve been told that places like Lowe’s use a computer to make keys and they don’t always work when you get home. So for $ 3.00 I got some great historical information about the business and a nice conversation with Mike. Oh and 3 keys.
