Great atmosphere. New menu has great selection. Staff were very friendly and great with the kids too. Indoor playground/movie room is always a huge bonus when you are dining with kids. Sundays and Monday’s kids eat free with a paying adult. They give each child a games/colouring in sheet with pencils on arrival. Kids meals comes with a free toy/gift too. Each night of the week has different dining specials. Great value for money. Thank you for a great evening.

Despite the other average reviews, I am reviewing this as a pub meal. I was pleased with the meal I had and my partner felt the same with her meal. I had the ribs and macaroni which was a delicious combo and would happily have again. I was not a fan of the tables although as they were metal and cold. Not long into the meal a quiz night broke out and found it very entertaining to end the night on. Will come back as it is a good pub meal.

I used to live in this part of Adelaide, and I also used to regularly drive past this place on my way to work on a daily basis. However I never actually thought about stopping by for a drink. I suspect it had something to do with me already having a pub that I would regularly visit at the time and seeing no need to go and visit random pubs just for the sake of visiting a random pub(even if it happens that I live nearby). Anyway, on a recent visit back to Adelaide I decided to rectify this, so I grabbed a group of friends and spent the day driving around and finished off at this pub. I must say it wasn’t the type of pub that one would finish off the night with a bang — it’s a pretty standard suburban pub, but then again it is in Aberfoyle Park, so it is fairly decent. Expect to see a room full of pokie machines and a sports bar, but it does have a nice beer garden and some pretty cheap beers. It’s not a bad place, but certainly not one to drive a fair distance to visit.

A little disappointing. Lunch from 11:30am but don’t go too early! 3 out of 4 meals had chips, they were look warm and looked like they had been re-heated! The 2 schnutzels look a little like they had been heated twice with crumbed part very hard! We will try another day to see if its a one of as the last time we found everything very nice.

All depends what you’re looking for I guess. If its nothing flash, quick bit of grub, flutter on the races, push of slot machine buttons. Any of these can be done at the Hub Tavern. The food is reasonable without being flash, the sort of place to stick to the normal pub fare, parmies, steaks, that sort of thing. If you’re looking for a night out look elsewhere, they to have bands on but you won’t find anything original. The place is often filled with kids, not hugely bad thing because they just run around the front until the parents are ready to leave. They will offer you colouring things to keep them occupied. It isn’t necessarily that the parents are neglecting them, more that everyone is local so normally twenty pairs of eyes are keeping a look out for them.
