Great family business. Always helpful and if they don’t have the item the ‘Norm’ is happy to order it in for you.
With home delivery for those larger items, getting material pre-​cut to size or using one of their hire trailers you can’t get better than Mitre 10

Having lived nearby for most of my life I have had to come for my hardware needs on more than one occasion. It is still owned and serviced by the same local family and everyone is always asking if you need a hand with anything.
It isn’t the biggest hardware store ever but they have more then enough to get a job started. As a youth I was often purchasing tyre repair kits for my bike or bits of wood to build some crazy jump that was band to break a limb, or at least severely injure.
Fully equipped garden, paint and building areas and are also stocked with all the tools you will need to get you started or finished.
