I was very excited to try this place, I had walked past and it had a cool, grudge look to it with funky interior, so I ventured back the next day for brunch. It was quite stuffy in there on a hot 30+ day with only one real fan blowing, but the menu sounded pretty delicious so we stayed. Table services was a bit slow and lagging unfortunately and had to wait for a while in line to order, and the guy wasn’t really sure on prices or how to use the cash register so that delayed everyone’s orders. We had to get our own water after asking several times, and even had to ask twice for cutlery. I feel like this garage style café has a lot of potential and not sure if it was just a «off» day but if they just tidy up around there service I think it’d be a real winner, food was well priced and was quite tasteful. I may just give this place another go in the future. Coffee was delicious too! :) Keep fighting the café business fight hello, yes and see you next time!

Been walking past this place a few times. About time that I checked it out. Nice little eclectic warehouse in the backstreets of the ADLCBD. The coffee was very nice and the atmosphere very relaxed. Food also seemed nice by the looks of it. Need to try next time. The only ‘problem’ was that you could feel out of place in the mostly young & hipster crowd. But — who gives … ;)

Funky place but unfortunately the service and quality wasn’t quite up to the standard that other places offer nearby. The coffees were weak and the service was slow. I visited this place with a small group, our orders were not complex but the meals didn’t arrive at the same time leaving some of the group waiting to eat or having their meals go cold. Then as the last two meals were meant to be delivered, the wait staff advised that they had sold out of the product. This should have been advised at the time of ordering or shortly after. This resulted in further delays to our meals and considering it was a late lunch and only one other table of people in the café, the wait time and sold out items should have been dealt with more efficiently. The food was tasty but on par with other eateries on Waymouth Street. This place has the potential to be great, it just lacks organisation and quality. Hopefully they will be able to improve.

What a hidden gem! The atmosphere of a great Melbourne laneway café in the heart of Adelaide. One of the best cooked breakfasts I’ve had in this town: exemplary coffee, perfect eggs and overall exceptional value. If it’s a cold day make sure to bring a coat as the concrete floors and warehouse décor are anything but cosy

Back in March I visited Hello Yes for lunch with a couple of friends and really enjoyed it. The salads and drinks were great, fresh and light, good flavours. Then we had a pot of tea and yummy protein ball to finish. Recalling this positive experience I went back a couple of weeks ago when I wanted to catch up with a friend for lunch, Hello Yes — not a good idea. The food and service may be great, but it was raining and freezing. We sat there for a few minutes ready to order but then decided to leave. Everyone was huddled around their tables shivering and looking miserable. These guys really need to rethink this place in winter. Adelaide does actually get cold in winter! If it were outside there would be heater lamps and plastic awnings. Such a shame, but I am not going to rush back here. Might have another think in September… sorry guys.

Hello, Yes is a barebones kind of warehouse fit-out, behind a garage door. On the plus side this makes for a fun interior, but unfortunately also makes it FREEZING on a cold day. While there for breakfast it got too wet and wild, so they decided to close the garage door. We were then left us sitting in mostly darkness, which didn’t really add to the atmosphere on a cold and miserable day. Coffee wasn’t bad, we thought it was cheap($ 3 for an espresso), until later looking at the receipt and realised they charged us $ 12 for two coffees :( The ‘ugly bagels’ sure are ugly but my dining companions said it was tasty and they’re quite small if you need a light bite to eat. I ordered the quinoa muesli which is store bought and served in a mug. Not great value. I did like that they sold local art and vinyl. The space is very relaxed and has got potential… for lunch it might be a better option, but I wasn’t totally sold on breakfast here.

Hello, Yes is a great little warehouse café in the Adelaide backstreets. It looks dark from the street, but is cozy and has friendly staff that will make you feel at home. The service is relaxed, so it’s not a place you want to rush. I have enjoyed their long blacks and cold drip coffee as well as the bliss balls, which are tasty and filling(and vegan/paleo). I’ve also tried the bagels, which are highly recommended! Make sure you drop in, take your time and enjoy some Hello, Yes relaxation.

Any place that names a house made menu item«ugly» gets a big fat tick in my book! These guys make(and sell, damn cheaply!) UGLYBAGELS. They sell so quickly we are still yet to try them, but their mystique increases my WANT to have one, and yet makes me wonder if they’re really real. Are they? This warehouse cool space ticks all the right boxes for a coffee break for us — De Groot Coffee Co, Scullery Made Tea, Tables made from doors and cool combo of ‘A Happy Death Artwork’(SA stationary design collaborative) and EMPIRERECORD(best movie EVER!) posters. It’s an owner operated startup, and you can feel the energy and love going into the place. The more support the better, and the more places like Hello Yes in our little city, the happier ill be.

Stumbled across this place with friends a few weeks back and was amazed. Great warehouse done up with all sorts of fun quirky items. Loved the doors as dining tables and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and efficient. I had the chorizo burger which was so nice and the iced green tea. Make sure you check this place out. I will definitely be back to try the coffee.

This place opened up about 2 months ago and I had looked at their closed roller door with the Hello Yes mural on it twice already… Today though, I finally managed to be in the city a little earlier and had some brunch here with friends. Tucked away down Eliza St, just near the Marble Bar(is it still called that?) off Waymouth St. Or if you’re coming from the Central Markets it’s just opposite the Adelaide Central Bus Station on Franklin St, with the Franklin Hotel on the corner. Hope that helps :) They have some other murals on the walls which helps to find them too. I ordered the«handsome fellow» which is a homemade bagel with jam and cream cheese. It was yummy! I also ordered a coffee which ticked all of my boxes. They had Bonsoy, De Groot Coffee Beans and a shiny new black La Marzocca coffee machine! It’s in an old warehouse space which they have managed to make kinda cosy. There is a corner with fake grass and a bike rack to park your bikes. A couch corner and a little section at the front in the sun with some upcycled benches made from crates and coffee sacks. The service was wonderful, the owners are very nice people, which is something that I find important. I like to support friendly, genuine businesses! Check it out and spread the word!
