Per Tutti means ‘for all’. It’s a nice gesture, but every café is for all, really. So not only are they capitilising on nothing, they’ve also hidden the message behind the crazy, cryptic language of Italiano! Since it’s an Italian café, I thought I’d go a cappucino and some focaccia, in keeping with the theme. The focaccia tasted almost as good as what my Nonna can do herself(which is high praise indeed), and the cappucino was fairly good too. What I didn’t like was the café’s appearance. Maybe it’s naïve to think so, but if you’re going to give your establishment an Italian name, don’t end it there. Italianise the place a bit. I’m not saying you should stick flags all over the walls. That’s cheap and tacky. But try to evoke some of the great spirit and atmosphere we associate with the country.

Per Tutti is a real find — great coffee, fresh food, and friendly service. Prices are fair, the service is great, and it’s way kid friendly, too, with a play area set aside for toddlers. It’s all standard, simple, café fare, but well prepared — you can tell they care about the food they’re serving here. There’s a steady stream of customers, but they never seem to get too busy to give everyone a smile and a greeting. Start with a chicken and cheese toasted sandwich, and a cappucino — go from there, it’s all good.
