Captain Obvious here to tell you what every Brisbane local knows about this end of town. It’s a black spot for any level of great choice for food establishments and if you didn’t carry leftovers from home with you or just needed something on the run, your options are limited. As such, I took a punt on Saigon Salad Roll. The line of hungry customers waiting for their orders signalled that it’s probably a popular spot and their range of rice paper rolls were looking great for this hungry hippo. I opted for a rice bowl with lemon grass chicken($ 1.50) and for just over $ 10 found it to be a perfectly suitable lunch option. There was a great balance of all ingredients and just enough spice to give your mouth a buzz. There’s also a damn fine looking banh mi menu!
