The only«traditional» fish & chip shop at Bronte Beach, Fishy Bites is often packed but just as often surprisingly quiet. I guess the Bronte beautiful people would rather sit in their favourite café for their daily catch-up whereas its more the weekend visitors who are up for your fish’n’chips in the park type of thing… Anyway I had a fish burger, and not being a fish lover or expert(if given a choice I usually just ask for the least fishy-tasting), the bun was fresh & soft, the chips crispy and not greasy, and the fish was the same– nicely battered, not too greasy and went down a treat in the park.
