Meh. I’ve been to Hogs Breath Cronulla twice now. Both times the food has been okay. They’re trying to be a Hard Rock style American Diner, and have the atmosphere covered. On my first visit I ordered the Byron Bay Chili Prime Rib, which was good, but I found the sauce was really carrying the dish. The Prime rib on its own was nothing spectacular. We went for lunch on this visit and shared the buffalo wings to start. They’re not a regular menu item, but they should be. They were the best thing I’ve eaten by far at Hogs Breath. They had a nice amount of spice and the sauce was similar to Franks — a vinegar base. The chicken burger was okay, but overall consisted of a disappointing pre-formed pre-breaded breast. The curly fries were lukewarm. The service was slow, and we had to ask for refills. I’m always impressed with their drink prices — I saw cocktails(single serve) starting at $ 10.

This place reminds me of Americas style café. If you like meat and a big steak this place is for you. If you like big portion this is definitely for you. And if you like ribs — this is your place. Cocktails where decent here too.
