Sorry to be writing a one star review but it needs to be said.
I ordered two of their ‘Best Sellers’ which was the Hainan Chicken Rice and the Har Mee.
With the Hainan Chicken Rice, I was expecting really tender juicy chicken and the rice to be both packed with flavour.
With the Har Mee, I was expecting like a spicy aromatic prawn base with the noodles etc (since in the menu it stated that it was a spicy dish).
Perhaps my preconceived idea of the dishes were too high?
But this was due to the fact that I was trying their top dishes!
Anyhow, the looks of dish quickly deceived me and I was extremely disappointed when I actually tasted the food to say the least.
The chicken was dry, little to no flavour.
The rice, bland, no flavour. It was basically white rice with the ever so slightest hint of chicken juices.
The prawn base, despite its vibrant colours was definitely lacking depth in flavour (basically water spiked with food colouring) and NO spice at all. Not spicy at all. zero. zilch.
All in all, sorry but will not be back for more.
