Eden Hill Bar & Bistro Playroom

Yay for Restaurants that understand if you have kids, a play zone to let them run free allows the adults to enjoy their meal a little more. The playroom in the Eden hills bistro is one such saving grace!
Having scooted down to the bistro last week for a dinner with a friend, her two kids love this play zone– they packed up a couple of transformers as just in case-​ers, which spent most of the time laying dormant on the table as they played with the arcade style racing cars and video games. God bless the age where coins don’t need to go into the machines for children to derive simple pleasure from pushing buttons and seeing colours!
The play section is divided into 2 sections «the cage» which is where the free toys are kept as well as a cubby house and a few stools. Considering that the max number of kids while we were there would have been about 7, it was a very reasonable size. The second part is the «arcade set up, which I’m guessing is for the older kids who want to sit on racing car seats and play with other video games. The set up is great, very family friendly and the staff patiently give way to children running from the play area to the tables and back. If every RSL incorporated a playroom perhaps the world would be a happier, better digestible, place!
