Mussel Pool East

Whiteman park covers a substantial area of land. To make navigating this land a little easier it has been segregated into a few sections– the two main sections being the village and Mussel pool. Luckily they haven’t been too tricky with the names so Mussel pool east and mussel pool west are fairly self explanatory.
Mussel pool east is situated to the east of Mussel pool (captain obvious strikes again!) It may not have the kiosk or the birds of prey arena but it does boast a very game worthy cricket pitch (which is essential for any «backyard» Barbie) and just below that is the dog park– which is great if you happen to have a furry four legged member of the family to likes to get out and about.
There is one large and a slightly smaller car park in the east side and while the walk to the pool might be a tad longer, it is a beautiful one over lush green «picnic worthy» grass.
So pack a basket, bring your sense of adventure and set up for a fantastic family day on the east of mussel pool.
