She Seldom Blushes

She Seldom Blushes is an aptly named shop. Its wares are peculiar but perfectly cute, feminine yet quirky and with these sorts of clothes you will definitely turn heads.
The unusual fashion style and accessories may make some blush… but not others. If you crave creativity and making an unusual fashion statement will enthrall you rather than embarrass you, come here.
Many of the clothes are costume inspired numbers and would be really fun to wear — my personal fave was the nautical dress that really did look like a nautical dress from the 60s. Team this bold and bright blue, red and white number with over sized sunnies and you’ll definitely make a statement.
The prices here are good too and you’ll be able to pick up a clever quirky outfit for under 100 bucks (most of the time).
There are heaps of original accessories to go with your new sailor, or whatever, outfit. The diaries bound with old Golden Book covers would make a great prezzie for a vintage devotee.
Fashion is a funny thing and if Trinny and whoever walked into this store they would probably run out screaming straight away — Trinny definitely would. I can see it now. But if you love to have fun with your fabrics and frivolity is the name of your fashion game then come in and check it out.

I am in love with anything vintage. It has gone from just loving vintage clothing to shoes, to accessories, to tea cups and basically anything else really. I love the stories behind these amazing things.
This shop sells some beautiful vintage clothing, really quite stunning, and when picking up a pretty 1950’s dress, I can imagine a stay at home house wife cleaning the house in it. Thats the thing with vintage it has a background, and you get to make it up. All corny, lameness aside, this place is just to die for. Anyone that likes vintage clothing should go here, no matter what era, they have it. A lot of 80’s which is always fun!
Its not just the clothing that makes this a wonderful little store, its the odd nick nakky things that you wouldn’t really find anywhere else. Unusual jewellery and objects made out of things that typically they wouldn’t be made from. Vinyl for instance, but it works and I love it!

The clothes here are just fabulous! You would discover Betty Draper, Bridget Bardot and Blondie all shopping here! Crazy vintage styles from all kinds of eras for sure! The clothes are amazing and great fun to try on and I love the collection of sunnies! You can’t find one person in fifty these days who isn’t wearing wingbacked Ray Bans, I found a pair of vintage ‘50s sunnies here and they were well worth the price, I love them. Their accessories are also incredibly cool, and there are various products made from genuine vinyl and diaries from childrens book stores. I like that the shop owner has sourced these from people she has heard about or are friends of friends and she’s showcasing the talents of other artists. She is also a legend of a character, talking to you about her store and being open to all and any questions and conversations. This is a great store to come to and step back in time for a little while.

I love this shop, the pop art promoting the store and it’s products is timeless, as are the recycled vinyls! I’m talking vinyl handbags, vinyl book covers, melted vinyl bowls! Nothing says «at one with the world» like combining fashion with environmental awareness.. . (a clash of the times and a BIG win all round!) These trend setters have got style and the selection of vintage clothing is spectacular, I’m not a huge fan of the floral, curtain creations but the bold colours, polka dots and stripes will always have a pride of place in my wardrobe. While my horizons expanding in front of the recycled jewellery and i pondered how far vinyl could go– the shop assistant was offering some priceless advice with a customer and her 2 other «stylist /​friends.»
I laughed at the enthusiasm and genuine considerations being taken– (plus the girl in question was rocking a wicked 70s, 3 tone mini that was made for her!) This is a great place to be, shop, browse and promote. She never blushes is bringing the old back in a contemporary and timeless way.
Spin it ~ embrace it~ flaunt it!

This cute little shop has some delectable vintage dresses — if you, like me, enjoy dressing up like you’re from a different time period, then She Seldom Blushes should be on your list of places to visit. Thanks to them, I can now add ‘Fifties Housewife’ to my list of looks (which also includes ‘Forties Tennis Player’, ‘Wartime Refugee’ and ‘Dickensian Street Urchin’). The girl who works here is really friendly and will happily help you with your outfit choices. There are some lovely gifty things too — they have these diaries made out of old children’s books, where the pages have been dispersed throughout the diary so you can enjoy the story as the year progresses. I want one so much, despite the fact that they’re ridiculously overpriced.
