The Coco’s breakfast was very big and nice. Generous serving of the tomato relish. But, you can sort of get this anywhere but, they did it well. There was nothing that really grabbed me for lunch except the Coco’s Cheeseburger. And that was close the the best, dirtiest cheeseburger I’ve EVER had! Jalapeño Jam? Delicious. Perfect chips. Kewpie(Japanese) Mayo. The staff were very friendly. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.

5stars for their service. The waitress has been making sure that we have plenty of water even it is for free and asking us if we want to order something to eat although we only ordered drinks. Nice service

One of the best brunches I’ve had in a long time. Food was artfully presented and very tasty. I had the Veggie Breaky — 2 poached eggs, beetroot relish, thyme buttered mushrooms, fresh avocado, savory granola, feta, 7 grain sourdough. Was really impressed with the beetroot relish-a mix of sweet and tangy. They balanced the flavor a just right. The whole thing just works in your mouth. Latte was smooth and silky as well. Only staying in Glen Waverley for 4 days but would definitely go back. Staff was friendly and helpful when I went on Sunday around noon. Restaurant had a fun, hipster vibe as well.

Can’t tell you what’s like for a late night lounge drink, that’s not my scene. But for breakfast, it’s pretty special. The menu choices are varied and feel out of the ordinary. They taste it too. It gets a little crowded here early mornings and you can feel a little squeezed in, but the food is well worth it.

Awesome dinner. They brought out the beef burger when I ordered the pulled pork, they were so good about it though and within five minutes I had my ordered dish. Was sensational and worth the wait, waitress was great and provided great service and again was so good about getting me my ordered dish. Great setting and nice atmosphere to boot. Definitely recommended :)

Came here for valentines day this year. Naturally, the place was booked out. I’ll start with the bad news. We had to wait around an hour for our meal. The good news is that it was sensational. A brilliantly thought up menu with great dishes that made for good conversation and good eating as well. I recommend this place. There are lots of things to choose from, and you won’t be disappointed. For the food, I thought the prices were reasonable, also.

What a great find while traveling for business. After wandering through the mall attached to my hotel, I was pointed to Coco by a sister restaurant that was full. The staff was friendly and attentive and allowed me to order a lunch salad during dinner service. The calamari salad was amazing!

The settings were really nice but after waiting nearly an hour for our food to come we asked if for an update on out food only to find out that it was never put through. no one ever came and asked us how we are going after all that time while we were only sitting there drinking water…

Busy and cozy this time our group sat at the back. I was a bit sick and when I asked for hot water the staff really impressed me by going out of the way and provided me with hot water, lemon and honey! TWICE! =] The main specials do run out quickly so get there a bit earlier. I had the lamb pasta and it was fresh, flavoursome and perfectly al dente. For dessert I had the apple berry crumble which was served in a jam jar with cream! It was fantastic! Quite tart so watch out if you don’t like tartish desserts. My friends got the poached pear and crème brûlée and were impressed and very full by the end of dinner. Coco lounge also has an upstairs bar area so will write more when I go again.

Not even going to lie, my last time in Coco Lounge, I had no memories of it after 3 bottles of Chardonnay at their roof top! But, there’s a thing or two that I can definitely say — one of my favorite«hot spots to drink» and to only drink. In other words, I LOVETHISPLACE. SERVERS: servers were really cool. She came around making sure our glass weren’t empty! DRINKS: Here’s my experience: (1) Chardonnay by Nine Yards: My girls and I love this drink and we had 3 bottles of this when I came back to Melbourne. It wasn’t priced too bad, around 40 bucks. Very crispy, and in my part, some hints of peaches. 5 stars. (2) Shiraz by Charles Melton: a-bit-of sour ending. Bold and smoky flavor. Around 60 bucks — a bit over priced. 4 stars. FOOD: Haven’t had a chance to try their food, but reading the reviews from Unilocal,it seems the trend is it’s pricey for its plate. **OVERALL: Drink at the east side of Melbourne on a roof top with some friends — prefect for a girls-night-out. 4 stars!

This place has the best coffee! It’s very smooth, not bitter and their lattes are still nice and strong. Nothing worse than a barista that thinks latte means«piss weak coffee with too much milk». The food here is good, but I don’t think it equals the price. I don’t often eat here as the noise level downstairs is a bit much when you’re trying to chat with your friend. They really pack the seating in along the long bench seat. I don’t go to the upstairs lounge bar but if you’re in to nightime music and ambiance you may want to give this a go. I think they have happy hours and they often have bands up there. But when I pass by, I always order a coffee to go! Best… coffee…ever!!!

We can talk about the restaurant, but when I hear«bar» or «lounge», I must admit that that’s often where I’m headed. It’s definitely lovely to find a decent cocktail lounge in Glen Waverley. And by decent, I mean by city standards — Coco Lounge can hold its head high compared to such places as Shine(with their variety of shooters and cocktails named after getting girls into bed). Yes, this means city prices, which can hurt the wallet a little bit, but with great staff, good cocktails and speedy service it’s worth the extra. Anyway, if you’re in Glen Waverley chances are you’re a local — just think of the taxi savings! Downstairs is a bit more formal than the lounge, but still worth a looksee. It’s very busy though, so if you’re looking for something a bit more intimate, I’d suggest a picnic.

This is my regular breakfast hot spot. They have a great breakfast menu that lasts all day on weekends! I find their food to be consistent and very tasty, its definitely got a few dishes that I just crave for every now and then. CoCo Lounge has the feel of a café, but the food of a restaurant. Its long narrow body offers a two person seating along the edge(tables can easily be combined occupy more people), and 1 large booth at the end that usually requires booking. I consistently order their ‘Eggs Begs’(but I swap the ham for bacon), and their toasted sandwich with bacon, avocado, salsa, tomato, rocket and tasty cheese. Just writing this review has given me a huge hankering for it. Also, if your there early enough, see if you can get a hold of their freshly baked muffins. They only make a dozen or so be quick because they sell pretty fast. This place does get very busy at times, to the point where your required to wait for a table(usually 11am on a Sunday). Overall the prices are probably on the high side considering the serving size is that large, but it’s still worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is clean and well designed.

When I’m after a coffee, or I’ve got that craving for a nice lunch and I want a change from the usual Vietnamese, Chinese or Malaysian, this is a place that I often frequent when I’m around Glen Waverley. Yes, it’s a bit more expensive than most of the neighbouring restaurants and cafes if you’re after a main meal, but it’s worth it. The service is pretty good too, and the staff are generally attentive, quick and efficient. I quite like the pumpkin gnocchi. If you’re a little bit hard of hearing, I recommend that you try and go when the place is a little less busy, or go with someone you don’t really want to listen to. Maybe that’s why it’s a good place to take parents.
