Brown rice sushi? Genius! Where can I try this?
Well, supposedly, here. However the two times I’ve been here to get it, they’ve been sold out. I think you need to hit this place at 9am if you want the brown rice. Otherwise, it’s boring old white.
Their standard sushi here is fine, but nothing special. Add to that the prices, $ 2.80 to $ 3.20, and its less impressive. In my books, that had better be some good sushi. But that’s just the market of Burnside, and the fact that this is the only place that does sushi! And sushi is all it does, so if they don’t have what you want, there aren’t many other options.
Their standard range isn’t very extensive either, but you’ll find all the usual favourites. There’s often a queue here, but it moves quickly.
