Yo-Chi Frozen Yogurt

I loveeeeeeee frozen yoghurt. Like loveeeeee it. I can have it anytime and anywhere full or not. There’s always room for it even if it’s 2degrees ahha i’m still down. My favourite part is that it’s self serve and they weigh it after you add toppings. I was keen on some flavours they had like green apple, coconut and berry rose water. I absolutely loved the berry rosewater as it was super night and smelt like roses. Yum! I was in heaven. Definitely would travel all the way there just for that flavour. Staff are very helpful as we got to sample some of the flavours before hand

Has to be the coolest frozen yogurt store around this side of town. Crammed with familes and uni-​kids alike, day and night, its the perfect place for a tasty treat when discussing a film you’ve just walked out of next door at Lido.

Family loved this place — terrific new fit out — looks amazing, welcomed by friendly staff that talked us and the kids through the various flavours, great choices there by the way, and the loads of toppings to choose from. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ brilliant

I had always considered myself more of a gelato/​ice-​cream girl and missed a lot of the hype over froyo, but Yo-​Chi definitely changed that.
The staff here are always so helpful and friendly, I love how eager they are to show off the flavours and help you make the all important decision of what combo to have. I’m a huge fan of the non-​dairy options like coconut, chocolate and sometimes avocado and lime. They are awesome tummy-​friendly choices that are just as delicious as the full dairy ones which I can never really say about ice cream! Although that salted butterscotch… mmmmm.
Then there is the endless topping choices… it’s easy to go nuts so I like to strategically plan what toppings I want to get my froyo to suit. I’m a sucker for fruit and crumble with maple syrup. So good. The fruit is always fresh and delicious, none of the toppings ever look sad or wilted.
The Hawthorn store is so pretty, a huge space with a gorgeous fit out and fun neon lights that makes it a great place to catch up with friends and actually hang out with your dessert rather than an in-​and-​out take away place. A friend noted that the large communal table seems to have been designed so that if you spill your froyo, it doesn’t drip off the sides — clever!
Hawthorn seems to be going through quite an invigoration at the moment and Yo-​Chi fits in perfectly with that. Add to the fact that Yo-​Chi is a family-​owned Melbourne business that supports local, takes care with offering natural no-​nasties produce, and gives you their wifi for free and you have an all-​round winning spot to grab a dessert after visiting one of the many restaurants popping up around Glenferrie Road.

My new fave on Glenferrie Rd YoChi fresh refreshing amazing concept friendly staff! Select tub size add yogurt mix as much as you want then drown them in healthy or sinful toppings such as caramel bananas, granola smarties, fruit you can go wild! So moorish!

Oh Yo Chi — I didn’t know that I missed you in my life until I finally got to have you in my life.
You are one of the reasons my summer was so much fun and one of the reasons I now am in so much pain from exercise. Because you are delicious.
You are the reason I’m justifying that fro-​yo for lunch or dinner is perfectly acceptable because I’m getting all my probiotics.
I love your little sample cups, your 8 different flavours (2 vegan coconut & choc hazelnut), especially salted butterscotch and the potential that we could meet a new flavour at any time. It’s keeping the mystery alive in our relationship.
I love that I can add as many treats or fruity goodness as I want or none at all, you don’t judge me.
Really, I just love you Yo-​Chi. You hold a special delicious place in my heart.
