Its just an expensive equivalent to a post drinking session kebab shop. Has BYO but food is overcooked and not fresh. Most Northbridge kebab shops do a better job. Staff not attentive and limited english. Woke during night feeling ill from the chicken livers I was served.

I was suckered in with a deal via Living Social, although I thought this was just a place to come for a Kebab after a few pints at the Queens opposite. I WASWRONG It has a seating restaurant upstairs, décor is on the sad side to be honest but the food loads better than the plastic table clothes. Chargrilled baby octopus was to die for the squid was just as lovely and the dips and pita bread also well worth my time. Mains were barramundi and a Greek salad fish wasn’t the best dish but still was tasty. The highlight would be that this place is BYO and I will be back even without a voucher.

Apart from having the freshest yummiest chips I’ve had, their gyros’ are absolutely amazing. This is no ordinary drunken kebab! The restaurant upstairs is the real place to go and it does feel very authentic. I ordered a lamb souvlaki and my oh my, it was a platter! The lamb pieces were so tasty(winner of the dish) and it was served with a simple greek salad and the most amazing pita! It also came with a good tzatziki. I had to take home the leftovers but it was great for lunch the next day.

I originally tried this restaurant using a Groupon Voucher, I have now been there 3 times and had their tapas menu and it has been brilliant each time. Fresh food, very tasty and also very traditional. Being Greek, of course there was plenty of food, tapas are very decent sizes. I highly recommend trying out this restaurant, using the term café in their business name, sells this place short of the restaurant quality food. I am guessing because they do take away kebabs etc that is why they went with café. Do yourself a favour and try the tapas menu, it’s 5 star quality. The staff are also happy, attentive and very pleasant !!

Half decent kebabs and not too pricey. Feel free to BYO and enjoy another angle on the ever popular Beaufort Street strip. Food and services isn’t bad however I wouldn’t recommend the place for a special occasion — can you imagine bringing an out of towner, an old friend or a hot date to the local kebab shop? Despite this, the meat here is pretty good, and far far better than most kebabbers. Sure, why not, give it a try, quick munch for less than a tenner and theres a bottle shop across the road.
