Average at best. Staff had no idea when I ordered the Supreme chicken wrap. Bought a coffee too. Went to pay. $ 17! Wtf? 1 wrap and 1 coffee? Oops sorry thought you wanted meal. So $ 13 then. $ 4.50 for a shite coffee. Wrap came. Looked good. However when I started to eat it started to fall apart. I like a decent amount of sauce. But this was drenched in aioli. Twice I asked for chilli when I ordered. Did I have any chilli? No! If I was you then just keep walking when you come to this place.

The Olé burger is one of the best Portuguese chicken burgers I’ve had! Always juicy chicken slices, soft bun falls apart but who cares when it tastes so good. Hot and large size options available. The fries are also great and the chili-mayo sauce is a MUSTTRY!(well worth the $ 1 extra)

The old OLÉ has changed ownership a few times since my best guy introduced me to it almost 5 years ago. There was a bit if a trough where I thought they had lost the magic but I think they are back to form. While they’ve had a lick of paint, installed a coffee machine and promoting a breakfast menu, you would be a fool to order anything other than a hot olé meal with prego sauce. The burger is just great: perfect amount of chilli, mayo and grease on the Portuguese chicken burger to compliment your hangover/jet lag/eating your feelings. Chips are crispy and always cooked to order. The days of free prego are long gone but an excellent chip dip. Pro tip– pop some prego on your burger for a next level delicious fat bastard manœuvre

There’s a few reasons to walk by this place without a second thought: its appearance is old and run down, the menu contains multiple typos(harsh browns anyone?), and the tables are old and rickety; but there’s a good reason that most of the tables are occupied. Truth be told, I have a soft spot for this place as it was the first meal I consumed in Australia and thereby set the standard for Portuguese chicken burgers. One bite of my hot olé burger takes me to my happy place. The fresh chilies mix deliciously with the tangy mayo and crispy lettuce. The chicken is always juicy, and the bun always soft. The hot chips are perfectly seasoned with chicken salt, and the prego sauce is unbeatable. I saw today that they have a loyalty program as well(11th meal free), which is an added bonus.

With three Portuguese burger places within 100 metres, you might be tempted to go to one of the nicer, cleaner looking establishments. Looks can be deceiving. By far the best burgers in the area, and the«regular» sized meal is definitely generous.
