Came here for dinner on a wet night with my partner. Nice pub atmosphere with a fire for winter. Entrée: I ordered the honey whiskey quail. Came with halumi and a greek salad. Quail was cooked to be tender, bit pink. I enjoyed it but not much honey whiskey flavour. The halumi was a nice addition but the salad was too much. I’m now full for my main meal. My partner ordered the mushroom tart. Was rich with lots of cheese. The pastry did its job but didn’t add anything to the dish. Also came with a greek salad that was too much for an entrée. Main: I ordered the chef’s special garlic prawn and spinach risotto. It was risotto with spinach and garlic prawns. Plenty of prawns and big serve but bland. Couldn’t finish it. Dessert: Was too full to order dessert. Left feeling disappointed with a little tummy sickness.
