As a convenience store, Leederville Convenience Store sucks. It’s not really all that convenient. If you ran out of an ingredient for your dinner, or you were stuck for something to eat and were too lazy to make it all the way a supermarket and too poor to eat out in one of the nearby restaurants, then Leederville Convenience Store wouldn’t really do all that much to help you out. It would just stand there looking at you with crisps, sweets and fizzy drinks in its hands. But, hidden behind the shelves of junk food are a few computers — making the store a cheap and cheerful little internet café on the side. The computers are in good working shape and the price use them are extremely reasonable, as is printing and scanning. So the store is convenient for something after all. All those backpackers crashing in their friends’ Leederville apartments, and all those students creeping around the suburb can all toddle in here to print out their CVs, visas or essays just a few steps from their couches!
