The espresso is better than what you would get at a Starbucks, but not quite as good as a great coffee shop.
The vibe is small and friendly.
The service is very polite.
They have free WiFi!
Better espresso and more electrical outlets would get this shop 5 stars. However, 4 stars is not bad in a town full of 3 star coffee shops!

Amongst the five million and twelve cafes/​restaurants in Manly, Bean Rush stands out for several reasons. Primarily, it’s in a bright blue building — kind of hard to ignore, right? Secondly, it’s lacking the million dollar views of businesses located on the foreshore of the beach and the harbor — and their million dollar price tags.
John and Dave, the friendly proprietors, are lovely people — they know all the regulars by name and coffee type, which is not easy given the wide following that this little coffee shop has attracted.
It’s also good value — the coffee is AMAZING, and the food very well-​priced and portioned. If you’re in the area, Bean Rush is most definitely worth stopping by!
