We went there for dinner and I ordered the chicken and chorizo paella. I should know better than ordering paella from a place other than a Spanish restaurat. It was colored with tomato paste instead of saffron and I counted maybe 5 pieces each of sausage(didn’t taste like chorizo) and chicken. To top it all off, the dish was bland. Someone forgot to add salt altogether. My husband’s barramundi dish was decent. Don’t think I’ll be going back.

When it comes to cafes in Manly one is spoilt for choice, which for those unfamiliar with the area can be a benefit or a pain(especially when it is too hard to decide and you jump from menu to menu). After checking out the deli café up the road we opted for the casual and quieter Interpolitan a little further down the street. The café is situated several blocks from the main strip in Manly, on a corner a block back from the beach and receives plenty of light. A mostly unimproved building, it features your usual quirky café finishings, including colanders used as lampshades on the ceiling. We only ordered smoothies and some banana bread and muffins to share which were delivered promptly by the friendly staff and delicious. Cannot comment on the coffee or cooked options but it all looked pretty good and for standard café fare. Low risk casual option in my opinion.
