I have to admit, I love to cook. :) if you don’t then turn around, this place ain’t for you. If you do love to cook like myself the you could get lost in Creative Cooks for ages. This store has just about everything you need /​want for your baking, frying or late night fondant-​ing…
As you walk in your eyes are drawn this way and that by all the shiny pots and pans. I didn’t realize there was so many. They have a huge baking section, fan-​dangled gizmos that chop and dice (i had to drag my wife away from them) and even a area where they teach cooking classes. I might need to check back to see when there on.
The staff are helpful and quite friendly but the prices are definitely up there, but if your a chef, a home Masterchef or backyard BBQ maestro this place is for you. :)

Once Creative Cooks was my one and only, but since then I’ve been uncovering more places around Adelaide to fulfil my baking needs.
They’ve got a great selection of goods for anyone wanting to get busy in the kitchen. From fancy cooking appliances, to all the gadgets you never knew you needed.
Personally I like to pop in when my cupcake liners or colourings need a re-​stock. They also have a discount loyalty program, which gives you savings each time you shop. It’s definitely worth getting a card, but I think there is a minimum spend before you qualify.
A good store whether you’re just after some lustful window shopping, or if you have a serious need.

On the hunt for cookie cutters that don’t come in packets exceeding a dozen I bravely entered the Creative Cook store and was hit with a wave of air con, a welcome respite from the heat. An industrial warehouse space greeted me with kitchen goodies as far as the eye can see. After wandering aimlessly around for a while before realising I couldn’t find what I was looking for (despite later realising I had literally passed the cookie cutters 4 times) I took out my headpohones and actually spoke to a sales assistant. The woman I spoke to was helpful and walked me to the exact spot I was after instead of just giving me vague directions which was a welcome change.
Despite the helpful service and range of products on offer I couldn’t help but think that the products would be cheaper if bought online… Awful I know.

My heart flutters whenever I step here. Like a kid in a candy store, marked with glee all over my forehead, I peruse rows and rows of baking and cooking supplies with much anticipation.
It is by far Adelaide’s biggest and largest bakeware and cookware retailer.

The shop is absolutely inviting, well spaced aisles and stocked with beautiful and inspiring pieces to bring home.
