I couldn’t give nil stars Called up to update the address on their system as I have been in to their Melrose store before. The ‘store manager’ who has the worst telephone manner in history took my call. Came across rude from the very beginning seemed like he didn’t want to be at work. I explained to him I needed the address changed as someone will be coming in on my behalf to purchase a few items therefore I wanted the delivery address updated. Firstly he wanted my old number which I obviously don’t remember, then proceeded to say he can’t go any further without a phone number, I suggested how about you check by my last name?(doing his job for him) it was too much of an effort but he tried… Nothing came up! I explained I have purchased a gem card from them in the past and couldn’t understand why I wasn’t In the system, it’s like he didn’t believe me and treated my call as if it was a prank of some sort! Then went on to say how strange this request was, I simply wanted to make life easier for the person who would be coming in to purchase the products for me! I don’t understand why that was so difficult to fathom! He told me his last name ends in ‘ovski’ and his name gets flagged straight away as it’s an uncommon name, he couldn’t be bothered trying to help me, and provided no solutions to the problem! He then demanded to add me into the system and wanted my details right then and there! but I refused as I will never step foot into that store ever again! There are so many other places you can buy decent affordable furniture from now with better customer service. I’m refurbishing a few of my units and needed cheap furniture packages to update the décor, leaving a family member in charge of the property and design whilst I move back interstate, Not that it’s any of your business A-mart… but just so you DO know, you lost yourself a valued customer who pays on time and has real estate connections who would make good business with you, thanks to the imbecile you’ve placed as ‘store manager’ at your Melrose store, who is ultimately running that store to the ground.

The best thing about this place is that it’s not Ikea. I actually really like Ikea, but sometimes it’s nice not to sport a catalogue of Swedish furniture giants in your own home. Exhibit A: My bedroom. Super A-mart is an alternative, which is often much more preferred. For a similar price, if not a little cheaper, you can ditch the Ikea boxed home and trade it in for a slightly more original version. Further to this, a grand here is a grand well spent. For example with your thousand expect to get a nice seven piece dining table set, or a four piece(simple) bedroom display. The three key furniture supplies found here are for the bedroom, study and dining room. Therefore expect anything from mattresses to kitchen stools and cinema couch’s. They also(often) offer 48 months no deposit interest free– for those of you who prefer redecorating via the slow and steady approach. Or the broke guys way to spending.

As far as I know this was the first Super A-Mart furniture retailer to open up here. There may be one in the northern suburbs but this was the first one I saw. Before that Super A-Mart was all about sport. Anyway, this one has some great deals on anything you may need for the house. From all furniture to the little add ons like cushions to go on the new lounge. They even have outdoor furniture and BBQ’s as well as all rooms indoors being catered for. They also have some amazing package deals. So check them out if you are renovating or moving our of home. They recently had a 10 piece package with everything you need for lounge and dining rooms for under $ 1000. If you want something a little nicer and and with more items for just over $ 4000 you can get a 21 piece package that basically covers everything you need for dining, lounge, master bedroom and study /computer area.

I love furniture and furnishing stores when the products are plentiful and prices are just right. Seeing how pricey furnitures are in Adelaide, shopping at A-Mart is a winner in all forms. With a warehouse layout and generous floor space, A-Mart has an excellent range of furnitures from bedroom range, lounge, dining to outdoor. I last shopped here when I had to upgrade the kids mattresses, they were reasonably priced compared to the giant retailers. They also do sales and promos which are worth looking at.
