I can’t tell whether this is biased, I think I may have Stockholm syndrome. Or just a full blown freedom addiction. I should preface by saying that I moved out about half a year ago, so the many visits have been somewhat required. Freedom are pretty damn good for affordable and pretty furniture. Sure there’s a lot of opposing styles slammed together, and personally I think the cushions are overpriced. But really that’s it. Everything else is pure gold, gold that not everyone has in *that* catalogue at home! Also, they do sales like nobodies business. I’m not sure I’ve ever purchased anything in there full price. Actually I probably, definitely have, I hate sales. Yeah I’m weird. But on the weekend they did a buy one, get one free on sofas. Yeah. I got a free sofa. Seriously, go. Staff are pretty good, amazing location, and affordable goods.

Moved to Mile End from its former whereabouts just by West Terrace(Grote Street), Freedom Furniture store is the Queen bee of stylish yet simple interior. During My most recent excursion to Freedom I was pleased to see a number of specials and bargains up for sale. This happened to be perfect for gift shopping. They have such cute supplies for kitchen and bathrooms that it made me want to move into a new house and begin with stocking up on home essentials. The staff are also fairly nice. Just be ware of buying glass coffee tables from here. Our table mysteriously cracked at two in the morning. Very strange. Not only that but we also have been waiting for Freedom to deliver us or replacement for aaaages. Nice table though.
