Established in 2010.

We are a family owned and operated business with a major focus on customer service. We opened our doors to the public on 30 November 2010 and have been growing ever since. Our customers tell us they love the atmosphere and the friendly nature of our staff that keeps them coming back time and time again.

Have previously been skating here and have had a great time. The arena itself was nice however we arrived at the wrong time having gotten the session times mixed up. Instead of politely informing us that this wasn’t a good time — the receptionist was extremely rude and sarcastic to us all telling us THREE times «you wouldn’t go to a movie without checking times» — like three times, we get it. Her attitude was borderline bitchy and there was no need for it as we were polite and made an honest mistake. She walked out of the room to check something and didn’t come back so we ended up leaving and going to another Ice rink. Really bad customer service which is a shame as we won’t be back. Very unprofessional.

We were here yesterday for a birthday party. It was very busy but the staff were courteous and professional. My child cannot wait to go back! Another positive for us was the knowledgeable canteen staff member who knew what menu items were safe for us to eat (we have Coeliacs). It is very rare to find gluten free gravy, so the chips and gravy were a huge treat for us.

Purchased a cheap session on Groupon the other day and decided to use it today at the public skate session. My first time on the ice!
Luckily being a Friday afternoon we almost had the rink to ourselves which was so much fun. Especially being able to go super fast.
The facilities at the ice rink are pretty good. There are lockers to store your valuables at a cost of $ 2.00 for 2 hours. A small canteen café with seating, we took a break and ordered some wedges with sour cream for $ 4.00 — a generous serving.
I noticed they do birthday parties and themed party nights as well as a party from Midnight to dawn.
The hire skates were fairly comfortable and clean. Staff relaxed and friendly.

I can think of few places better to chill in summer than the ice rink and Xtreme ice arena puts most other ice rinks to shame.
Not only do they carry on the tradition of old school Friday night disco (7:30pm-10:pm on Fri, and Sat) they also cater to a «bumper on the ice» niche (10:15pm-11:pm Fri and 3:45 — 4:30pm Sat).. . and not that soft «one way» bumper rubbish either!
The girl at the counter when I went there was lovely, super friendly and really informative. They’ve also got a little cove over to the left hand side when you walk in with skate and tight sale– for the pros (or those of us aspiring to one day make tan tights looks good) Definitely a look see, this is a venue that is timeless, and provided your hips and knees are in good working order, I’d go as far as to say ageless also!
For $ 18 including skate hire for adults, $ 10 for children under 5 or $ 5 for a 5-​minute bumper session isn’t cheap, but it’s definitely worth it.

The Extreme Ice Arena at Mirrabooka is a fantastic venue if you want to come on down, or fall down, to learn to ice skate. This new building has an Australian first, Bumper cars on ice, and at $ 5 for 5 mins, it is alot of fun.
There are regular Ice Hockey games with the season starting in Feb and going through til Sept, if you would like to watch, ”one of the fastest sports on Earth”. They also have general skating for anyone to come and skate, figure skating, speed skating, and disco laser nights with a DJ on Friday/​Saturday nights.

So it’s not quite living the dream ice skating in front of Rockefeller Centre at Christmas in New York, but it’s still a lot of fun. I hadn’t donned a pair of ice skates since I was probably 11 until recently, and I may have spent the first few laps clinging to my friends arm, but eventually my confidence grew and I let go. When you think about it, skating continuously around in circles for a large amount of time seems a little pointless and hardly fun, but there is something therapeutic and satisfying doing it, and with a large group of friends most definitely fun.
They cater for birthday parties, and there are disco laser nights on Fridays and Saturdays with a DJ. The arena also is a place for sports such as ice hockey, speed skating and figure skating, and they run programs for these. They also have ice bumper cars which look amazing, and I feel like for my 22nd birthday I will have no shame in dragging my friends to that… well perhaps.
