Fish and Chips on a friday night should be an institution! I am fairly sure that this has been ingrained on my brain for years! Especially takeaway fish and chips!
There have been more than a few friday nights when, after a long week, the last thing you want to do is to cook so grab your phone and give Ripples a call! On the other end of the phone won’t be your usual unintelligible grunts from someone taking take away orders, it will be someone who you almost feel like you should be telling your life story to instead of just giving a take away order to.
The great experience doesn’t stop there — when you walk in, you could be mistaken for thinking they had read your mind and even though there was a stack of takeaway orders ready to go, they knew which one is mine! (well at least 50% of the time)
Lets move on to the real part of the review… the food! This is fish and chips how it should be! Nice fresh fish and chips that are not even remotely soggy. There is the usual Flake in Batter but there is also a range of other fish that will be cooked to order.
All in all, this is a great fish and chip shop!
