Great restaurant! Came here with my parents for their wedding anniversary & I was a bit nervous as my husband and I are vegan and have had terrible experiences lately when restaurants say they can ‘cater’ to us. However, we were not disappointed! We called the night before to make sure they could accommodate us and the chef said he would make us vegan meals. We both ended up with a delicious risotto — and it was so much better than the average risotto vegans are used to being served everywhere we go. And we were also treated to beautiful desserts. Great service & lovely vibe too! I love a restaurant where meat eaters and vegans can all leave happy with full bellies!

I adore this restaurant. I think a lot of people do. Probably why it’s hard to get a booking on Friday or Saturday night. I booked well in advance for Friday the 19th of Feb because it was my birthday. Bistro Guillaume is impeccable from the décor to the service and food. This was the 3rd time I’ve been and each time I’ve tried a new dish. All outstanding. This time I had the Charcuterie plate for starters and mussels for mains and they were both so good. My partner is a lover of oysters so he started with those then had the pork belly for mains and it was melt in your mouth good. The cocktails offered a little different to the normal ones served in bars, but taste fantastic. Very moreish. The restaurant itself overlooks the stunning Crown pool area and it feels like you’re on holiday in a different country. Beautiful view. By the way! I used my Gold Entertainment card for this visit and got nearly $ 60 off the meal!!! Well worth buying the book now. I will continue to visit this restaurant for years to come.

Wow. Wow. Wow. What more can I say. Was there for dinner last night. Best Valentine’s Day meal ever. Fantastic venue with relaxing atmosphere. Very polite, attentive and friendly staff. Food was out of this world. Big portions. Hubby was very happy. I couldn’t finish most of my main. Dessert was chocolate soufflé…OMG. It was like eating a chocolate cloud. Yummmmmo

The food was good but not the best French I have had in Perth! The lamb rack I ordered was delicious and moist and both the desserts we ordered were nice too. My partners steak was ordinary however. I wouldn’t be returning in a hurry

We ventured out last week on a Saturday and had dinner here I usually don’t get to over excited with these high name places as most are try hard over priced. I have been to Guillaumes in Sydney several times and was always good Bistro Guillaume in perth is great, we really couldn’t fault the service the food was great other than the steak tartare, I have eaten this in many establishments around the world and although the flavour was there the presentation was lacking, i was expecting a plate with the garnish around meat and a egg yoke on top the soufflé desert was maybe a little over cooked and scamble egg tasting, maybe a 1minute less in oven we will try again for sure

Afternoon high tea on a Sunday. Thought it was a bit pricey for what we got. Savoury food was ok… Nothing fantastic Sweets made up for it though as they were very good Satisfying and good to try once but I don’t think I’m coming back Wait staff were just ok… Nothing like the good service one can expect in France I think one of them smiled at us once… Just once Not a big fan of the green colour scheme… It looks dated.

This was my fourth time that I’ve been to Guillaume and I must say that not only has it never failed to impress but it’s incredibly gotten better on each occasion. The first time we dined there was with my Mum for Mother’s Day and everything all went down a treat then and we attended a dinner there once more together and then again with my girlfriend. This time was for«Dinner and a Show» with my Mum and my girlfriend and her Mum just before heading to the Lion King. I must say I was a bit hesitant in booking at the Crown whilst a show was on because last time we had trouble at accessing the full menu at Modo Mio before Wicked but this was no fuss for the staff at Guillaume and they took our patronage in style. For entrée my girlfriend and I shared the Chicken Liver Parfait with Pear Chutney and Boudin Blanc. The Baudin Blanc was delicate and delicious. I thought that the broth with the onions would over power it and it did mute the flavour ever so slightly but it was still scrumptious. My Mum had the Onion Soup which I tried and it was a little sweet for my liking. The Parfait was one of the best I’ve ever had and was incredible for me. Which is unfortunate because my girlfriend is pregnant and loves parfait but was unable to share. For mains we had the Tempura Prawns, Soy and Yuzu sauce, Mussels Mariniéres, Rangers Valley Sirloin and Twice Baked Cheese Soufflé. All of which was beautiful and I literally drank all the sauce from the mussels which were juicy and plump. For sides we had the Paris Mash, French Fries and Mushrooms with Garlic and Parsley. Again as expected was divine and although only simple to make, I am very fussy especially with fries in that they must be crispy or something is really going on in the kitchen. Overall our experience was outstanding and reasonably priced for the quality of food and the awesome service. We’ll be back again and again! Cheers! Dave.

My husband wanted to take me out somewhere nice for a dinner date. I wanted to try Bistro Guillaume for some time now and he really wanted to have some escargot — so we decided to give it a go. On arrival, we were greeted and taken to our table straight away. Loved the interior! Very chic and fresh. We ordered some wine and were served some bread with butter and salt. I had the onion soup for starter and my husband had escargot en persillade. The soup was very tasty and I really enjoyed it. I think this was actually my first onion soup ever. According to husband, the escargot was probably one of the best he had. He was pretty keen to order second round of escargot. After our starters, we finally decided on our mains — I had char-grilled King Salmon with lentils & roasted root vegetables and husband had rack of lamb with confit tomatoes, white beans & chorizo. We also order side of Paris mash. Both mains were tasteful and decent size. Mash potato is a must! We skipped the dessert as we were quite full and we planned on having some late night cocktails. Throughout the night, the wait staff were checking on us — without it feeling like they were hanging around the whole time. Our water was refilled several times. Overall: Epic dinner — will definitely be going back.

We got given a $ 300 voucher for Crown as a wedding gift and it expired this month, so we booked in at Bistro Guillaume. The venue is obviously very modern, slick, shiny and what I imagine a lot of the restaurants in Miami to be like. It’s really the antithesis of French dining which I have always found to be cozy and full of character. The wine list is pretty good, we started with Perrier Jouet — a glass of their standard bubbles and one of their rose, the rose was a real treat, but so it should be at $ 32 a glass. For our meals we ordered oysters to share, then the charcuterie plate and soufflé to start, what the hell we’re celebrating right?! The oysters were fantastic, so creamy. The soufflé was a disappointment, almost omelette like in consistency. We were waiting quite a long time for our second round of drinks, we were actually without a drink for most of our mains. For mains we had the sirloin and the Patagonian tooth-fish. The sirloin was perfectly cooked, I didn’t rate the Patagonian tooth-fish, but my husband really liked it. For desert we had the lemon tart and the crème brûlée with apple sorbet and donuts. The lemon tart was great, the cream brûlée was ok. Overall we spent $ 380,(seeing as we had the voucher) but I would have been really disappointed if I had spent my own money on this experience, the service should have been much more attentive considering the price tag, and the food just wasn’t nearly as good as other French eateries in Perth.

The food is delicious there, I love the how the place is decorated they also have a nice terrace overlooking the poolside. My husband had the escargots and I had the soup of the day(cauliflower soup) and then we had the mussels ‘marinière’ — beautiful sauce, different from the chilli mussels people are used to, this sauce was made with wine wine… The fries that came with the mussels were so nice and crispy. Overall we had a feast! We hesitated in getting a dessert but truthfully our bellies were full and content so decided against it.

Elegant, classy, pricey but we’ll worth it for special occasion. Beautiful bottle of Juniper Estate Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon but this was one of the cheaper choices $ 100.00. Patagonia Toothfish delish and unusual flavour. We also had Barramundi — devine. Steak was a bit tough. Service was absolutely faultless with wonderful attention to detail.

I think this place is the best of all the restaurants at Crowne! The leg of duck confit. So juicy & tender. It is so amazing that I have only managed to moved away from it once, for the duck parmentier. The desserts are to die for. I’ve tried all of them & the crème brûlée is the best. They do high tea as well. It’s too delicious!

Had the steak tartare, duck confit with the paris mash. The bro had the roquefort soufflé and the rack of lamb, and lets not forget the oyster starter with a sharp red wine vinegaret The raw steak was excellent, could of had that three times and the lamb was perfect. Will go there again, great service, great venue.

It’s definitely difficult to look for nice french cuisine in Perth. Bistro Guillame offer that delicate flavour without the pretentiousness. I ordered the pork belly thinking it was going to be crispy, but it just mouthwateringly melts in your mouth, and it was such a delicious surprise! Come in and be adventurous, you will not be disappointed!

This is one to put on the list! I found the booking process easy and the staff were welcoming, helpful and they had that right balance of leaving you alone and keeping an eye on your table. The a la carte menu has many options in the French world of food. They also were offering a fixed price ‘Ultimate Lunch’ which was good value at $ 55 for two courses including champagne. We enjoyed a divine mushroom risotto with parmesan emulsion and Manjimup truffles, perfectly cooked salmon with French green lentils and then there was dessert. We indulged in Opera cake with coffee ice cream as well as the profiteroles with vanilla bean ice cream and melted chocolate. I was very impressed with the ambience, the service and the menu. Ideal for a romantic date night dinner or a quality business dinner with clients. They also offer their version of High Tea on weekends.

I loved my dining experience here so much that I am dying to go back! Everything from the décor, the service, the food and the bathrooms(10⁄10) were exceptional. If you are a bit hesitant to try it as it is a little expensive, make sure you go because it is worth every cent! It has been a little while since I have been here so the menu has probably changed, but I had the most perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious barramundi for my main, and an equally impressive crème brûlée with mini doughnuts for dessert. One of the most delicious and hands down the most memorable meals I have had so far in Perth. We did not have a booking and walked in for dinner at around 8pm on a Friday night but we managed to get a table. Surprisingly the only tables they had left were on the terrace overlooking the pool which was stunning and already had me excited before I even looked at the menu. If it is a nice evening I would definitely recommend booking a table on the terrace as it is beautiful(as is the entire restaurant). Guys, if you take your girlfriends/wives here for romantic dinner I can guarantee you they will be impressed. The perfect dining experience and I can’t wait to go back!

I am very impressed with this popular french bistro found in the Crown, Perth. The food was exceptional. honestly could not fault a thing. The complementary in-house bread with salt flakes was a delicious way to get the taste buds watering. the salmon was cooked to perfection, melted in your mouth and the root vegetables were the perfect accompaniment. the steak was to-die-for. so tender and cooked for just the right amount of time. we had to finish off with dessert which was a french tiramisu which had just enough dark chocolate & sweetness to end a perfect meal!

When we arrived, the menus were already placed on our table. From my research done prior to arriving at Bistro Guillaume, I knew what to order straight away. b For our starters, two of us had the Escargot en persillade($ 25) and mum ordered the Spanner Crab salad with avocado, cucumber and capsicum coulis($ 30). Persillade is a sauce or seasoning mixture of parsley, chopped together with seasonings including garlic, herbs, oil and vinegar. The Escargot was very tasty and the crunchy-ness of the persillade made it a matchmake in heaven. This was the highlight of the night. Dad also said that it was so good that he could have another second helping of escargot. I had a taste test of the Spanner Crab salad and it was very fresh. The presentation of the Spanner Crab Salad was given a lot of attention to detail as it was very pretty with colours matching the theme of the restaurant. All of us enjoyed our starters and we could not wait for our mains. For our mains, dad and I shared the Rangers Valley Wagyu rib eye with crispy kipfler potatoes and Béarnaise sauce($ 145). It was a very generous portion. The rib eye was cooked to precision and the meat was tender which blended well with the Béarnaise sauce. The crispy kipfler potatoes was very good and complements the rib eye very well. As the portion was quite generous and although it was under dishes for two on the menu, this dish could actually feed a trio. Mum ordered the Rack of lamb on a bed of ratatouille, tapenade and zucchini flower($ 40). Like the Wagyu rib eye, the lamb was cooked to perfection and the meat was soft and tender. Mum enjoyed her dish and thought that the ratatouille, tapenade and zucchini flower complements the rack of lamb very well. After finishing our mains, we were all quite full but luckily I have reserved some space for dessert. I ordered the Passionfruit Soufflé with crème Chantilly, banana and passionfruit sorbet($ 22). The Passionfruit Soufflé was warm when it arrived and it was very soft and light that it felt like it was melting in my mouth. The Passionfruit Soufflé was heavenly when eaten together with the crème Chantilly and banana and passionfruit sorbet. What a great dessert to finish off the night! Overall, we had a great dining experience in Bistro Guillaume. All of our meals were executed very well from starters to dessert. When we were leaving the restaurant, I had a short glance at the kitchen and thought that I saw Guillaume Brahimi, the chef who has appeared on one of the episodes in the current season of MasterChef Australia. I highly recommend Bistro Guillaume whether it is for a special occasion, a casual dinner or a dinner date. We will definitely be back in the future to try other dishes on their menu!

Had lunch here a couple of weeks ago while visiting the Crown casino. They had the advantage of being open still after the buffet next door had shutdown for their afternoon break. We started out with onion soup and the twice baked cheese soufflé. Both were standout dishes, though I found the onion soup a bit salty and prefer a traditional cheese soufflé. Our mains were the linguini with crab, chili and tomatoes and the fish of the day(jewfish) with lemon and capers. Both were excellent dishes – no complaints, highly recommended! We skipped dessert unfortunately – just didn’t save room, I guess. Excellent dining room with a view of the pool area. Lots of light in the afternoon and very quiet after 2pm. Service was professional, attentive and exemplary. Would definitely eat here again.

One word. MATT. He’s the best bartender I’ve ever come across and I’m drawn to him like a moth to flame. He’s pretty much the main reason why I come here. As soon as we walk in, he treats us like we’re his favorite customers. How can anyone fault that? He remembers all our previous conversations and knows what we like. When we get to the bar, the first thing he gives me is a plate of maraschino cherries simply because he knows I love them! And he keeps topping it up when I’m done :0) When it comes to drinks, he will happily whip something up on the whim depending on what alcohol we’re feeling like on the night. I was doing Lent and not able to have any sugared drinks so he made me a 100% fresh fruit & vodka cocktail and it was so delicious! Of course Bistro Guillaume offers more than just their amazing bartender and cocktails! Came here for dinner for Sylvia N.‘s birthday a couple of months ago and found the food to be divine. We ordered a few entrées to share between the four of us which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had escargots for the very first time and was quite surprised by how much I liked them. The garlicky, buttery goodness definitely helped. The Rack of Lamb I ordered for my mains was perfectly cooked. The Mushroom Risotto that I was lucky enough to have a taste of left me mesmerized and I’m salivating just thinking about it. Desserts are also top notch! I can never say no to their soufflé. So fluffy and sweet and ‘melt-in-my-mouth’…mmmmm… The special dessert of the night was a Strawberry & Frangipani Tart with vanilla bean ice cream, which the four of us agreed was fantastic. Must return for dinner again in the near future. And if not dinner, then just to see my Matty-Matt!
