Have been several times for the Peking Duck Pancakes and always found it to be prompt, pleasant and typically boisterous hustle and bustle of a busy Chinese Restaurant — The duck comes as a choice of two course and generally good value for two people to share.
There is always usually a long line of people to get in for Sat/​Sun Yum Cha … strangely when we went there last Sunday the Restaurant was only 1⁄3 full and no line…
I am not sure but I think there may have been a change in management or chefs… as the Yum Cha was disappointing, slow service (not for lack of wait staff) and when we did get some steamed rice noodle dumplings they were gluggy, sticky and cold.
We voted with our feet and found a little gem in James St that will probably become our new regular Yum Cha.
Will be interested to see other Unilocalers opinions/​reviews in the future
