Having heard so much about this place I couldn’t wait to grab my afternoon wake me up from this balcony like café(balcony of a very tiny studio). I paid a hefty 4.80 for a large mocha with their specialty Rwandan blend which is meant to have chocolatey undertones and is berry flavoured. What I got was a delicious flat white. Even the addition of chocolate powder didn’t give it the chocolatey bitter taste you get in a mocha. One of the worst mochas I’ve had but definitely a delicious flat white or latte masked as a mocha. Do not go here for a mocha or hot chocolate. Their powder is weak as — almost non-existent.

Perth had no shortages of good coffee places these days; however I had been hearing good things about Ristretto for a while and only wish I had tried it sooner. The staff are amazingly dedicated, friendly, welcoming and know their job. This is reflected in the quality of their coffee, which like wine depends much on the individuals preferences however I am sure these guys and girls will amaze.

I have a small(large) obsession with coffee and this place satisfies me to the extreme. I had one of my top 5 lattes of all time from here, now thats a big call considering I drink about two a day.

These guys are on my list of top 3 coffee providers in the city, with a big hell yes! Service is dedicated to a fine brew and the staff sure know their stuff. The house blend is fantastic and they also rotate a coffee blend of the day too. Milk is by Bannister Downs, which is a driver of that creamy texture that urges me to buy my coffee and never settle for a home attempt. It’s only take-away and open Mon-Fri sadly, but every cup is made with love and care and incredibly goooooddd. On last visit, my takeaway soy cap was handed to me with two careful hands and a sincere«you enjoy that». Naturally, I did enjoy that.
