The Cutting Board is great for grabbing a bite to eat while you are in the go in downtown Perth. They open early and are quickly able to accommodate a large influx of customers. Their signature breakfast panini and coffee gives you all of the fuel you need to get you through the day at a very reasonable cost. The staff there is always kind and courteous.

A staff member gave truly the worst and rudest customer service I’ve ever experienced, avoid unless you enjoy being abused for no reason.

The cutting board: new york deli and grill. The cutting board will serve up mamas favourite hot meals. From a hearty breakfast to a fresh cut sandwich. Slow cooked meats IS the house specialty with coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, burgers all on offer. Be sure to order home made pie slices(pork/chicken/beef/lamb) or a must is the Reuben sandwich, its a must!

This place is great if you don’t believe me just walk in, if you don’t see something you like ask your seeing eye dog to sniff something out for you. Good breakfast great lunch and a pretty good coffee. Also they have a bar but I normally have to go back to work so I haven’t been able to damage my liver here but it gets a nice bit of afternoon sun so I’m sure it’d be fun.

People at the west end of the city might wonder what the big deal is about fresh, well-priced, tasty lunch options designed to efficiently feed hoards of hungry business people, but this is not the west end of the city. We got burgers all round when we headed there, wanting a fresh feast. They were good value for money, and a plenty filling lunch option without fries. Huge points for the pepper jack cheese. I feel like this is the kind of place you keep going back to, customising your order until you find the killer meal that will be your regular, and I can see quite a few of my colleagues doing just that.

This area of East Perth was a gastronomic waste land. That was, until The Cutting Board landed, full of alien concepts like tasty food, good coffee and fast service. This mothership of cosmopolitan feeding is manned by life forms never seen before in East Perth hospitality. Smiling, energetic and competent crew that ask your name and diligently execute your orders. The food is excellent with so much choice that you can easily eat lunch here every day of the week without getting bored. Mountains of slow cooked meat, pre-prepped sandwiches and salads, MYO sandwiches, fruit, juice and even a daily pasta all lined up in an awesome glass servery. The coffee is pretty good. And the use of people’s names to manage the coffee cue without making people line up is a nice touch. On my first visit to Perth in 9 months I ate here 7 times in one working week(breakfast/lunch). And loved it.

I’m not really in a position to comment on food here as this is only my coffee stop. The staff are very friendly and hardworking and so far the coffee is great. Food looks fantastic and not too hard on the wallet as well. Soon to be a licensed venue when they get their liquor license approved, that should be good.

Went here for lunch today and it was really nice. A great choice of meals, with salads, wraps sandwiches and hot meals! I had the chilli chicken sandwich which was so tasty and packed full! Quirky little place which was surprisingly popular! Loved it and will go again for sure!

Yeah BABY!!! 5 Stars ! When a place like this opens up in Perth they should get all the business and encouragement they deserve. This area, if caught in it around lunchtime, has historically been the PITS when it came to tasty lunch meal options. NOMORE! The Cutting Board Eat House has added some real service, and flavour to the people of Pier and Stirling St. I checked it out for the first time a few days ago and it was brilliant. The place was buzzing with activity as hungry diners dictated their orders to the exuberant and very busy wait staff behind the counter. Yes the lunch time rush was on and the staff seemed to be having fun! So a simple pulled pork roll with some BBQ sauce and some sides of salad and great service was simply enough to blow all the other lunch time experiences I’ve had in the area away. Say NO to mediocre lunches and YES to The Cutting Board Eat House! Keep it up guys.

It’s not often in Perth you find a restaurant/bar/bistro that has a perfect combination of service, pricing and atmosphere/ambience… The cutting board eat house is new, positioned under the Leighton Contractors brand new Perth HQ building on Pier Street in Perth. The Basilica Group are believed to have opened The Cutting Board, and honestly, the staff have been amazingly quick to adapt since their opening day on Monday(23rd September) and the food really is astronomical. Definitely see myself and my team spending a lot of time and lunch money here!
