Never had a bad coffee here, awesome pizza and lovely food. The only let-down is the inconsistent service, sometimes friendly sometimes awful! My partner and I have bought our coffees here every day(sometimes twice a day) for 3 months and we don’t get any personal service, barely a greeting let alone a goodbye from the owner. The wait staff aren’t too bad though, they are pretty friendly. Very disappointing! Will consider going elsewhere on Bay Street from now on as there’s plenty of competition.

One of the best pizza in Melbourne: the dough seems to be the main secret, I really like it. The staff is friendly and helpful. One of my favourite spots in Port Melbourne

Try some Smoked moZ! A little pricey however only a few steps away from the water and small smoked goods are very tasty.

A slice of Italy in Port Melbourne. I mean I haven’t been to Italy but I have spent a good deal of time in Carlton, especially D.O.C, and the pizzas at Bay One O One are reminiscent of those fine thin crusts, with minimal but quality, tasty toppings. Happily devoid of dripping cheese. The D.O.C theme continues with authentic Italian staff and even an ex D.O.C waiter to greet you at the door. The restaurant has only been open a few days and it has been a full house every time I have gone past. A modern, minimalist fit out inside with large wooden communal tables. There are also 4 tables curb side. Take away options cover savoury and sweet pizza. If you dine in there are pastas and salads to choose from too. There is also a dessert case with some traditional italian cakes and sweets that are well priced. Bay 101 is open for breakfast and I am intrigued to see what is on offer. I predict this will be the most popular pizza place on Bay St.
