Jesse A. is right — Mickey’s is not just cheap, it’s DAMN CHEAP!
It’s definitely your friendly neighbourhood fruit and veg shop when you need some produce. Sometimes, it’s not the BEST of quality (i.e. the bananas) and I’ll opt to get certain items elsewhere, but for the most part, Mickey’s will do.

I just realised: MICKEY’S IS DAMN CHEAP. You can buy a meal with small change. And you can find the most delightful assortment of pumpkin there at this time of year.

This small little fruit and veg shop in a quiet part of Pitt Street is a modest, cheap local fresh produce shop. The shops only small but it’s neat. I love the old style barrels used to hold the pineapples out the front.
Cheap is probably the key in these inner city parts with prices cheaper than most supermarkets. Examples:
