It was a decent buffet, which we were forced to eat, since the waiter pointed out the fact that any curry is $ 20, and the buffet was the same price… so we agreed and went with the buffet. It was very small, nothing spectacular. I just wouldn’t ever go back. so I suggest you don’t even try it.

After reading the reviews, I was excited to head here for a nice Indian meal. We went on Friday night and there was only one other table of people(it was heavily raining mind you). The pros: extremely efficient, friendly waiters. Nice atmosphere. The garlic naan and samosas. The cons: you know in MKR when Manu says ‘Ou est la sauce?’ This is NOT the case here! We ordered the lamb cutlets rogan josh and the fish curry and both were mostly sauce. The meat was very hard to find. The rogan josh was very tasty, my cutlet was melt in your mouth tasty but my hubby’s was tough, he said. We had a few spoons of the fish curry but it was overwhelmingly fishy and the fish was rubbery. Not a good choice. Also, poppadoms came to start but didn’t have a nice dip like they usually do. I’d be hesitant to go back. There are so many other good Indian places around.

Value for money is second to none. They even do a BUCKET of curry(equals 3 serves) if you’ve really got the munchies! P. s Check out the crazy specials on the bak of the takeaway menu.

If you are looking for some Indian cuisine and not confident in past selections, I can assure you The Curry Club will deliver a tasty and satisfying meal every time. Yes, the menu is a little more expensive than your average run-of-the-mill Indian joint, but thats just it they are not average at all, so you will pay that little bit extra. This place is popular and its not hard to see why. The service is always with a smile and you really can’t fault any of the dishes. The restaurant itself is very clean and although the crowds can get a little noisy at time its never over powering.y.

This is another Bridge Road icon that delivers delicious food to dozens of Melbournians every day and sits firmly in my heart. The Curry Club Café serves sensational Indian food; I’m talking spicy and authentic flavours with soft meats and hearty vegetables. My tried and tested favourites include the onion bhajia($ 6.90), samosas($ 7.90), followed by the chicken saag($ 18.50) with creamy spinach, or the Goan chilli prawns($ 20.50). The setting is pleasant and friendly and the restaurant is filled with laughter on busy nights, The Curry Club Café is the perfect place to meet up with some friends — you can share some dishes and wash them down with a cold mango lassi. The wait staff are great and I have always found them to be particularly useful when your stumped on making a decision, just ask them for their recommendation. The only problem I have is the price, however I’m willing to overlook that because I’ve found it hard to come across a good Indian restaurant in Melbourne.
