A little bit pricey, but well worth it. I was here on a Saturday afternoon and had a great couple of hours out the back on my Macbook with a couple of vinos and a great pad thai. Sunny but shady, with attentive service. Will definitely be back, but secretly happy I was there during a quiet period.

Really heard lots about this new hot spot to eat on Bridge Rd, walked in and sat for absolute ages and had to get up to ask if this place was table service or not! Not a great start. Then we had to deal with a reduced menu which was enough to get up and walk out of there! If I were to open a place, especially with a name that would immediately cause an issue for some, id be absolutely spot on with service and make damn sure the food was there. This was only 2 months after opening as well. sorry but far too many good spots along Bridge to give you guys with attitude a second chance.

Not bad. Has a cool vibe and the food is tasty. Menu highlight of the night was the whole fried fish with 3 flavour sauce, which was snapper, the fish was picked dry. Also the crispy duck salad and the massaman spring lamb curry were good. The braised beef salad was not a winner, the meat was quite fatty and mixed with a coconut sauce type thing it was a bit full on fatty boom boom. Service was a little lack lustre, let’s call it efficient — calling it friendly would be a stretch. They’re busy, it’s popular. The Saturday night we dined staff didn’t seem overly pleased with the crowds or capable to manage just yet. A dining buddy asked to keep a copy of the menu in case we wanted to add to our order to which he was told very sternly to put it to the side as to not drop food on it, sorry mum. Didn’t get a chance to try any cocktails, they do look pretty tasty though. A highlight was the bathrooms, tres cool.

Second time back and unfortunately the service was lacking. On arrival we had an expected wait time of 30min so we grabbed a drink out the back while we waited. Long story short we waited close to 50min for a table and saw another group given a table after a 5−10min wait. .. . Further throughout the night it was apparent that the staff just weren’t communicating with each other. As for the food this was still amazing and will probably draw me back again! Just hope the service is better next time.

Ate here on a Wednesday night around 7:30 and got a table no worries — all previous times we’d tried it was packed out. Had one of the prawn betel leaf and the lamb betel leaf, nice and spicy and super fresh flavours. Great way to start off. Then the dry red duck curry, salad with pork belly and octopus(done so well, it’s unbelievable) and the massaman to finish. We got one serve of brown rice on the side, which was not quite enough between the three of us. It’d be ample for two I’d say. The curries are rich and quite heavy so having the salad is definitely recommended as a refresher between courses. Service was friendly and quick, accommodated a last minute table change to outside without skipping a beat. Didn’t go for any desserts and only had beers from the drinks menu but this place is definitely worth checking out.

What can I say, Amazing. This new little Gem on Bridge road, is a must for anyone that likes Asian food. We went with a group of 5 and were seated after 5 mins. There is a great little waiting area out the back, where you can order from the bar and enjoy a drink whilst you wait. The menu is designed to share(As so many are now) and being a non-seafood eater, just as good, as it seemed I was sharing the table with some fish lovers. I had the duck salad, massaman and dry curry, and of course the Key Lime pie with Meringue. The curries were delicious. Fragrant and light, but with bold flavours that danced on the palette. Duck salad was delicious, however lacked a bit of the main ingredient with made it a little hard to share. Now to dessert, after speaking to our waitress she advised this dessert was also her favourite, and that sold it for me. Being a lover of citrus desserts I was looking forward to it. The flavour was spot on, and the meringue delicious, however the pie itself was extremely cold(Almost frozen) this made the marriage of the dish a little disconnected. I would order it again, but it just did not hit the 100⁄100 for me, more a 95. I would recommend this place to all, give it a go and you will be coming back.

I headed to this recently opened(& much needed) new Thai place on Bridge Rd one Friday evening with the husband and a couple of local friends. It was quite busy when we arrived at 7pm, but the four of us were able to squeeze onto a communal table out towards the back(where they also have a bar called Buddha’s Bar that does a bar snack menu, cocktails and drinks). We were ‘watered’ upon sitting and given menus. We ordered a couple of beers and a couple of cocktails(a gin based one named Transginder — another pun-ny play on words to match the cheeky name of the joint). The menu was explained to us as being designed for sharing, which is cool. So you can choose yourself or go the banquet. We asked what would come in the banquet that evening(mostly because we were curious how much & what food it would include but also because one of our group has an egg allergy). This is when things got a bit weird with our waitress. She said she couldn’t say for sure what we would get as it was up to the chef. We pushed a bit more and she offered to go and ask the kitchen. We were then told that it would be one«bite», two entrees, two curries, rice and salad. But not what the items would be. All good. Simple enough. We get they can’t say for sure what we will get, but it was just weird the way it was eventually delivered — like it was this big secret, all cryptic with limited details. In the end we ordered a la carte. And were glad we did as it worked out far cheaper per couple, including drinks — and we all had heaps of food! We had a calamari betel leaf each(one had an oyster), the dry red duck curry, the green snapper curry, papaya salad, stir fried greens and two serves of brown rice between four. It was plenty. And tasty. The salad spicy. The curries flavoursome. The greens OUTSTANDING! Yum. That’s how you get kids to eat their greens I tell you. The other waiter who was bringing out our food was a bit of a legend. As was another one serving others on our table(she explained the banquet up front and easily when the other groups sat down), so it seems it might just be the odd staff member who wasn’t quite up to speed yet(totally forgivable having been only open a week)! All in all a good experience and a much needed quality Thai place in this area of Richmond(and oh so pleased its within stumbling distance of my place)! Will be back.
